I rescued a new pug!!

Wife and I have a lhasa terrier mix and she just went in to rescue a pug from the shelter. Hes so adorable. Poor thing got neutered today and is so tired. But the terrier is so protective over him its so darn adorable.

Had to share it with my ats folks!!
Not sure how to make the pics appear here without making it a link. So if a mod can edit my post and adjust thatd be great!

I took the cone off for him to eat, he hasn't even gone for the stitches. He cant even reach em. So I figured ill keep it off as long as I have en eye on him

I was away on business during my Dawgs nuetering.

I think he has always blamed the (ex) 'ol Lady for that painful episode in his life.

But I did find the Cone quite hilarious.

Not a minutes sleep. The pug has been running around checking out the new digs and crying every 40 min or so. He has a pain killer in him and I dont wanna give him another one so soon. Poor guy....

Cute little guy, good for you for the rescue,and good for your other dog they seem to know when there's someone more vulnerable than they are around i.e., babies, small dogs and kittens and they can be very protective.

Well done bknapple-rescue dogs are great,I think they love you even more when they have had a bad start in life and then get rescued.

He is so cute I just wanna squeeze him, after he heals up of course. Poor lil guy. I had a pug in my younger days and I miss that smooshed up little face.

Cute little pug!!!

It takes a select few to make a difference...volunteering at your local animal shelter....adopting a pet...donating a few bucks to a local pet shelter...it does make a difference!

My wife and I have a wiener dog (dachshund) but we find time to go up to our local shelter a couple times a week and walk a few dogs...amazing that we don't have a house full of them already...sometimes it's hard to say no!

Anyway...good on you OP...S & F'ed for making my morning coffee time cheerful!
