Wow theres a whole website dedicted to this strangesoundsinthesky.com...

I'd like to add that I have heard the noises also, I first heard a rumbling sound in March 2011 and this past December I heard what sounded like a dinosaur/trumpet. I only know of 2 other people that live in my area that have heard these strange sounds.

I don't know why everyone can't hear it, but if it's a hoax... why would someone go through that much trouble just for a laugh

Just thrownig this out there - I pulled up North Battleford on Google maps. The town has a train yard rather large for the size of the town. 5 or 6 tracks wide. That being said, you'd think these folks would be used to the sound of the train yard. However, what if there was something wrong with one of the trains - a stuck wheel or something else to cause a horrific grinding sound the people were not used to? I once thought I heard the sound phenomenon, but upon closer inspection it was a train slowing to a stop at the local grain elevator. Very loud, mechanical & "scrappy" sounding. It was so loud that I first proclaimed it couldn't be a train, until my husband dragged me around the side of my in-laws house and pointed it out.

Don't know if it's a typo but that would be North Battleford.

I think this is one of the things that gets to folks about the noise and the different noises...

Most of them are familiar sounding, as..yeah I know that sound, but it usually does not
emanate from the sky at night....loudly over miles, and kilometers.

Just for the record, ATS member Loam had now logged his comments, and has personally
heard this sound twice. His posts are here, in the linking thread.

Typo. My bad!

Just had a thought. Could the strange noises be a huge public address system being tested in a kind of covert way?

Maybe some bright mind in the government has suggested that the best way to inform a whole country of possible impending events is to devise some ingenious acoustic system where the message is produced by vibrating the air at altitude. They couldn't test such a thing with the old

'1,2........12..........ooonnneeee......tttssschhooo' eh.

So they'd have to use a neutral noise, like pitch shifts etc. That's what I'd do thinking about it.

As a strong believer in Extraterrestrial intelligent life, and the Ancient Alien theory, here is my 'take' on what those scriptures mean-

Horse: vessel for transportation, as referred to in 'chariot of fire'

The seal being broken: A door opening, as in a door on a vessel

Horns: the sound that the 'space vessel' makes

Angels: aliens ('messengers', as in clerk-level....assistants)

God(s): aliens ( leader, commander, specialist)

Rapture: mothership arrival for mass abduction

This is total crap, who created the aliens?

Science? Evolution? Evolution on another distant planet potentially created the aliens. Maybe God created the aliens since he created ALL, including evolution.

thats what i said previously

Haha yes, thanks for that post! I meant to reply early on....so many different things to
think about. I'd have to say I am more interested now than ever, thanks to that "expert" scientist .

Has anyone put together a map of locations where these noises are heard? It would be interesting to see if the locations have any relation to the magnetosphere. If it's not nature magic, maybe it's a project blue beam mic check.

The really interesting part is how this "expert" scientist in this clip blames aurora borealis and say it is completely normal. Funny how this is a new phenomena then and never once have i experienced such sounds from it here, even though i live near arctic circle where northern lights are common.

Yes, funny that huh?

He suggests its "somehow" caused by radiation, or the aurora?!

That just makes no sense...

So first it is a musical instrument, then it is a busted loudspeaker and now they have moved on to aurora borealis or radiation belt. I wonder what the next theory will be.

Let me jump into this. Images of drones that were 'uncloaked' have been online for a few years. Several people have mentioned in various sites of the exodus of ufos in many countries over the past couple of years. Also, underground burrowing by organizations to connect secret locations are alleged to exist.

Okay. Can underground mining cause reverberations above ground? Have any of the drones made sounds or were detected by their sounds? When the departure of ufos took place, were there sounds in addition to sights?

Lastly. The Anunnaki used frequency instruments for tools and weapons.

Could the sounds be a precursor to a 'door knock'? Knock, knock. Who's there?

- disclaimer - I had a few tangents rattling around. Thought to share. Please be kind.

What about Schumann Cavity Resonance? It is likened to the heartbeat of the Earth and has been increasing in the last several years.

If we are having magnetosphere problems, the sun is acting up this year and due for a pole reversal (I believe I read), and its also theorized we are moving into an inter stellar cloud, then all these factors could be adding up.

I think it would be interesting to overlay a map of the sounds with a map of the naturally occurring magnetic geographical locations.

Also, since people have related these to the sound of revelation, that may be a clue to something worse. If we take the Bible as a message from those which survived a cataclysm in the past, and the only way to ensure it would survive thousands of years is to turn the message into a religion so it wouldn't be lost.

We know that there have been catastrophes in the past based off geological record, and it could be that these trumpet sounds are the sounds that occur before one of these events. Maybe they associate that sound with the revelations doom and gloom is a further warning. "If you hear those sounds get away from where you heard them because bad things are coming."

Here is a video I found on the cavity resonance and 2012. I know a lot of people don't like David Icke, but its a shirt interesting video that at least provides something more to ponder.

Glad you posted your thoughts, no worries here. I know many of us have different thoughts,
and thats the great thing here is we can do that.

Collaberation, expression, all good things.

I beg to differ that this is "normal". I am not old but I have been around a good many years and i don't ever recall this happening. I have heard of people "hearing" faint sounds emanating from the Aurora in the arctic, but n'othing like whats being heard. And not globally. Something very strange is going on.

Might I suggest that this relatively recent reoccurance of this phenomena is caused by the strong solar flares and activity we're experiencing and some form of resonant effect of the atmosphere or the earths electromagnetic field.

Resonance is quite a fascinating subject in it's own right.

If you take 2 tuning forks of the same natural frequency and hit one of them, the other will also resonate.

It's also the reason the tacoma bridge fell down:

Solar activity produces electromagnetic energy of all wavelengths, including radio waves, etc.

What I'm suggesting is that if the right frequency of solar energy hits the right part of the atmosphere that has the correct natural frequency, then it may cause the air molecules or water molecules in the atmosphere to resonate creating sounds within the human hearing range of frequencies.

Alternatively the interaction of solar flare and atmosphere/magnetic field might create a kind of demodulating effect similar to in a radio to step the RF frequency down to the human hearing range.

I think the coincidence of increased solar activity and the occurance of the noises might well be linked.

Of course this is a very straightforward and logical suggestion for what may be causing it, so I doubt anyone will like it since it doesn't include aliens or the book of revelation.
