When you begin to imagine the achievement sound all around you, and you begin wondering how many points you can get for doing tasks in life that aren't simple

You know you played a game too long when you say "Call for Help"* instead of ask for help.

*FF fans might know this, especially FFXI*

you've played a video game to much when you start seeing crosshairs in your vision, when your still playing a game and the sun is rising and if you start having nazi-zombie themed nightmares (thanks treyarch!) on a nightly basis.

You know youv'e played COD or BF3 too long when you step outside in the realworld and check for snipers in surrounding buildings, or be cautious when going around a corner.. just incase..

Or when you hear the COD theme music (which are all awesome!) playing in your head long after the fun has stopped..

Or when your ringtone is a games theme music... I'll stop now.

I can't honestly tell you how many dreams I had of red, yellow, blue, green and orange "bars" scrolling from bottom to top of my vision.

I was severely addicted to rock band for a while.

You have been playing for too long when:

The power gets switched off for not paying the bills
You no longer have the energy to get to the bathroom
Your avatar has had more beers than you.

...when you close your eyes at night and all you can see are Tetris pieces, falling endlessly.

When your computer desk or room start filling up with empty pop/soda cans and chocolate/candy wrappers. And sometimes you thought about getting a mini fridge in your room so you don't have to run to the kitchen each time you are thirsty or feeling the munchies!!

When you game CD cases do not have the game they suppose to have.

You know you played a game too much when...

You start collecting and saving bottle caps for "hard times"

You know you played a game too much when...

On Facebook for your religion/and or belief you post...
