Meet Vermin Supreme, a lesser know candidate for the 2012 presidential elections.

Here's a brief summary for those who are unable to watch video

Vermin outlines his main policy - He pledges to go give a free pony to every American citizen if he get elected. The US would convert to a pony based economy creating lots of jobs. By doing this the pony poop will be used to create methane gas as a new alternative energy source. The pony poop will also be used to make compost in order to restore the soil that has been depleted over the years due to pesticides and other chemicals.

I think this is a great policy. It's his only policy.

What are you thoughts? Is a new green government the way forward for the US?

Horses as the main currency? The American indians tried this method. After we adopt their currency, maybe we should adopt some of their philosophies as well, I'm all for it. Got my vote.

Now he's onto something with his breakthrough energy plan there! Just replace zombies with Obama administration, and it would be a realistically viable solution to our energy needs. And also, our ongoing immigrant problems could easily be incorporated into that as well. I like it. But honestly, he had me at the boot-hat before anything else.

Plus ponies. I certainly wouldn't turn down a free pony offer.

This is all and great, but since you just came out recently what are we RP supporters suppose to think? You are pretty new on this site so what are we suppose to say? I'm not downing this thread but why now? All of sudden, you working for the MSM?

A perfect example of why most states require signatures in order for a name to appear on a ballot.

I am not at all surprised to see that he is a democrat , all he needs to do now is run for congress in California. Hmmm...... on the more fluoride for all ticket.

OK sure, no one could argue with his policies. He has hit the nail on the head with almost everything he said but I feel the way he presents himself could damage his credibility and appeal with most voters.

If the dude had a shave and threw on a suit I dont think anyone would be able to deny his message and he would win the presidency by a landslide.

Its a sincere shame he doesnt have a decent PR team like most candidates to tell him these things.
In a way its kind of sad that the average American wont be able to see past the fluffy beard and wizard costume to actually hear that what hes saying as its exactly what America and by extension the world needs.

You're really not quite seeing the point here are you? Let me try to explain it simply......It's funny. The guy wants to give everyone a pony, and he looks like some sort of wizard.

Was that simple enough, or are you still not 'getting it'? Or is it that you are simply immune to humor? Not thinking it's funny is fine....but trying to derail an obvious bit of levity into a serious debate seems to denote a tad bit of desperation on your part.....relax.
