Mmmm? came across this, this morning in the Beeb. It's a compelation of satelite images. One thing I can't help but notice on the image a seal team 6 Al Qaeda effort is.....

1. The helicopter seems to have been made for midgets?

2. The satelite photo from space seems to show a large wreckage area with a dark area (Fire?).

Either way, looks like BS.

www.bbc.co.uk...

Sorry no Idea how to add a screen shot (Perhaps someone could tell me?), but's it's the 5th picture along.

Cheers,

Beno

I'm fairly certain that isn't the whole helicopter, just one of the chunks

Not from the moon though.
Back on topic...I am sure the midget helicopter that they have pictured is just a piece of the tail. Would be very cool to have a 2' seal team 6 though. Never see them coming.

I think it might be it, actually. I was thinking it was the main rotor assembly or whatever you call it but it seemed like there wasn't the appropriate debris like a drive shaft sticking out of it and obvious breakage on the blades. that would also explain the funky stabilizer type things sticking out.

Now that I've looked closer I see the drive shaft of the tail rotor sticking out the end and arching over the wall

You aren't talking about the tail rotor of the Stealth chopper we lost are you?? Small? How so? Using the Paki standing next to it for scale, that is a pretty BIG helicopter if the single tail rotor section there is all we have to judge by. I'm amazed they all but destroyed the rest of it as completely as they apparently did.

I'll just assume you knew that was the tail, not the main rotor though...and the MUCH LARGER body of the helicopter was melted slag on the other side of the wall....right?

Yep, I see it now......
I think I need a white stick and a guide dog. I first thought it might have been a drone type helicopter. But wait!!!!!!

Edit: I have looked on Google and I can't find a thing with a tail section like this? Am I blind?

It's believed to be based on the UH-60 Blackhawk.
