I'm disappointed with your OP. How about the full names, office addresses, personal address, telephone numbers, and emails?

it's a totally insane over-reaction to the threat. (terrorism)

in the UK you could be held for 28 days without charge. The security services wanted it increased to 90 days which caused uproar and now its been reduced to 14 days.

its also been deemed unlawful to detain foreign nationals without charge for longer than this period which wasnt the case before. There was legal reviews into it and the judges did a good job heres what they said.

96. This is a nation which has been tested in adversity, which has survived physical destruction and catastrophic loss of life. I do not underestimate the ability of fanatical groups of terrorists to kill and destroy, but they do not threaten the life of the nation. Whether we would survive Hitler hung in the balance, but there is no doubt that we shall survive Al-Qaeda. The Spanish people have not said that what happened in Madrid, hideous crime as it was, threatened the life of their nation. Their legendary pride would not allow it. Terrorist violence, serious as it is, does not threaten our institutions of government or our existence as a civil community.

97. I said that the power of detention is at present confined to foreigners and I would not like to give the impression that all that was necessary was to extend the power to United Kingdom citizens as well. In my opinion, such a power in any form is not compatible with our constitution. The real threat to the life of the nation, in the sense of a people living in accordance with its traditional laws and political values, comes not from terrorism but from laws such as these. That is the true measure of what terrorism may achieve. It is for Parliament to decide whether to give the terrorists such a victory.

There's more than you think, they're literally waiting for the "last straw" this and the other bill could be it for a lot of real patriots.

If obama doesnt veto this it looks like a lot of people will be buying AK-47's for christmas.

According to this article, firearm sales are way up this holiday season.

Seems people are waking up and realizing that these are the best "toys" to give this year as well as the most useful in the weeks ahead.

From
H.R. 1450, section 1032:

This is what I found looking through the bill. Unless someone provides text from the bill that proves this is an evil bill, I think that the only people who should be scared of it are terrorists.

That's right!

Stop talking and send a petition.

Stop talking and write a letter to your congressman.

Stop talking and wave an American flag.

Stop talking and say the pledge of allegience.

Stop talking and line up at the nearest FEMA camp for processing and showers.
