Why are Republicans trying to raise my taxes?

It seems clear to me that they fight for tax cuts for only the rich and want the rest of us to pay more of our income in taxes. I cannot see any other way to read this.

Why are Democrats destroying your Social Security? The "payroll tax cut" isn't a cut to Federal Income Tax, it's a cut to your FICA...which is Social Security. You have 2% less in it because of Democrats. Looks to me like the Republicans are saving it, albeit indirectly.
