On this forum people debate each other. Just so you are aware - A debate is two or more people presenting their arguments with the intent on persuading one another. This is what we are engaged in on ATS, is it not? As I recall, Slayer has posted links to several resources supporting his position. You have not...therefore, you haven't persuaded me because you’ve done nothing but state your opinions.

How boring (and pointless) would it be if we all just stated our opinions without anything to back them up?

No, I just so happened to be in the embassy at the time actually. We all know what that was about don't we? Hadn't America been supporting a brutal dictator there, as is their usual policy?

So let me get this straight - You believe that because Iran hasn’t OVERTLY attacked anyone in 100 years we should overlook the FACT that they want to destroy the US and Israel and they are actively pursuing nuclear weapons for that purpose? You also believe that because the US has conducted wars you disagree with it cannot take action to defend itself against a threat to its security?
