1. Why do you stand against this movement?
2. What would you like to see in this movement?
3. Have you ever attended an Occupy event?
4. Where do you see this nation and planet in 10 years time?
5. What stances that this movement has adopted are you against and please specify a reason?
The results from this little poll here will be presented to the General Assembly Of OccupyWallStreet encampment at Zuccotti Park and will be posted to other occupations.
Please remain civil, please be respectful of one another, please be specific as daily talking points and generic answers will not be taken seriously.
You want to be apart of change right? Here is your chance!
What say you?
This poll will remain until 10 pages or more of replies are compiled and is your chance to be apart of history! Those offering no answers will be ignored as well as those attacking anyone will be ignored!edit on 9-11-2011 by TheImmaculateD1 because: (no reason given)

Re read my reply 3 above this and learn something! This is not a case of oneupmanship, not a case of "Me-v-You" but is "Us-v-Them". This is what this is all about.
A recent Fox News poll was conducted and guess what?
Do Occupy Wall Street protest represent your views on the economy? [183,148 total responses]
- Maybe. I am not even sure what they want----- [2.8% 4694 votes]

During the Oct 15 Day of Action event globally there was about 50,000 in at least 500 cities
Fria,
As stated on numerous occasions on previous threads and posts is that we want nothing to do with the totally and completely corrupt 2 party oligarchy as well as any other political entity or party on the planet as all are corrupt to the core.

things that need to be changed
1. remove the ability for "private banks" to create money from nothing using deposits and give the power to issiue money back to the people.
2. set up infrastructure banks who loan the money out and all interest pays for the infrastructure and at the completion of the infrastructure project start a new infrastructure loan process (non inflationary)
3. a charter on corperations that must be renewed, and if the corperation hurts humans the CEO and board are responcable criminally if the charter is broken
4. remove corperate person hood, a corperation is not a person and should not have standing in front of the courts, only people are people
5 money is not free speach, this is a pervertion of the meaning of free speach and an insult
6. food products that are not proerly tested must be removed from the food supply (some GMOs)
7. shipping reforms, giant sludge burning ships must pay carbon tax as they are one of the worst polluters on the planet yet pay no carbon tax
8. remove outside money from politics, insider trading must be as more illegal for politicians than for normal citizens. in new zealand you would be thrown in jail for trying to bribe a official.
9. any law passed must apply to all equally, 1 rule of law for all, not exempt politicians
10. prosicute rating agencies as a rico lawsuit
11. prosicute Morgage Back Securites sellers in a rico lawsuit
12. lower fractional reserve leverage amounts to 1-2
13. instigate a education program to teach the principals of modern money mechanics to all peoples to ward off the return of a central banking cartel
14. executive orders make a mockery of democracy remove them
15. remove no bid contracts from the military
16. remove the ability to use state seceret laws to imprision with a fair trial
17. remove the bar societys influence on legal procedings and make the languge spoken at court understandable to the people being tryed, why speak in legaleeze? because you dont understnd it and must pay the bar accociation to get it interpreted to you.
18. supreame court justices voted in by the people not the politicians.
19. remove subsidies for gmo crops. people have a right to labeled food so label all GMOs so that a free market can choose to eat or not to eat them.
i will be thinking of more to add

During the 05 protest against the Iraq war in DC media was claiming 100,000 while CSPAN placed the estimate at 800,000 - 1,000,000 in DC alone so whereever you got that info from was dead wrong.
www.politicususa.com...
They are confirming 50,000 in NYC alone and do this is 250 cities and you get 12.5 Million attendees!
Times Square was packed to like 40% capacity which out of a capacity of roughly 500,000 means that nearly 50,000+ was in Times alone for that day
Look at posters here, on YouTube, out of every say, 100 people responding or commenting to a video on #OWS nearly 75 - 80& are backers hence the Billion person estimate.

Stop pulling numbers out of your backside.
50,000 in NYC has zero bearing on any other city. Take for example my city (1 million +) and it had a whole of 15 protesters on weekdays and 40 on weekends...although, this weekend they are estimating less than 30 due to weather and Rememberance Day.
As for youtube and the internet...no different than Ron Paul, wins every internet poll he is in, why? Because his pack of rabid followers search and participate in those polls. Notice how he never actually wins...call it a disparity between the internet in reality.
There is no 1 billion people backing OWS, you would be lucky to find 1 billion people that know anymore about OWS other than the name.
This is the largest movement in recent memory and is bigger then the civil rights era, Vietnam protests, the Free Love era, the Tea Party combined. The numbers continue to grow exponentially every day, 10,000 a day become enlightened and that is a result of direct action by taking the message to the public.
This is why the banks and the Federal Reserve have unleashed their dogs in the form of law enforcement, because this movement is that huge and threatens them and the status quo directly.
No other movement in recent memory has rocked the foundation of The SCUM the way this has, The SCUM are running scared and do not know what to do.
This is not another opinion but is a fact and to continually challenge me on this further proves my point. Now go back to your regularly scheduled program!
Hook, line, sinker, SUNK!
4. Where do you see this nation and planet in 10 years time?

"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay: lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." -- Matthew 13:24-30
"Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world (end of the age); and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them also which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear." -- Matthew 13:36-43
