Check his post history. Its not simply an opinion, its systematical propaganda. If you cant see this, then too bad. Good luck.

Ohh c'mon, but that's our slogan!
Generalize until proven otherwise?

Divided we stand, together we fall.

I thougth OWS was about wallstreet owning politicians and all of their lobbyist

Or is this a thread that is supposed to hide that and make it sounds like they are a bunch of tools.. all of them not jsut a few..?

I don't think all the OWS folk are tools, just misguided, or better yet, maybe misdirected.

The Targets should be more widespread than just Wall Street. They need to Occupy Congress and their State reps as well.

There are three targets that need to be addressed/protested and they are only concentrating on one. All the while another target is actively corrupting them. The three targets should be Wall Street, Congress and the White House. They are the ones who have a symbio-parasitic relationship that is bleeding us all dry.

It makes no sense to me. When I tried to point that out I was asked...politely, to leave. When I politely said I wanted to be heard, I was surrounded by some surly looking guys. So I left.

That was my last straw.

I too wasnt impressed with the rally I went to.
I dont mind the right to protest, though.
What I did mind was the "if you aint with us you're against us" mentality,I saw.
I also wasn't impressed with the strong UNION turnout. I knew right there this movement was hijacked by the left, even though I gave them some benefit of the doubt. JOBS is what most EVERYDAY PEOPLE wanted. But most voted for Obama last elections, and thought he was the savior of America. Because that hasnt worked out to their advantage, instead of protesting him and his cronies at Washington, and not enough pride to actually say they made a HUGE mistake, voting for him, they now have their attention on the RICH. Easy to target people based on their financial wealth, instead of those writing the laws, that keep them down.

I was actually impressed at first by what I saw.

But it got diluted over time.

Pretty much now, here where I am, it just sounds like people whining and wanting everything given to them.

For no other reason than...because.

Am I right?

Or

Am I right?

I guess it's off to the camps I go, if ya can catch me.

Please keep your comments on topic rather than personal ad homin attacks.

It furthers the discussion.

What have you done to promote OWS? Other than to be a internet mouthpiece in furthering the , uh message?, no, that's not right, they don't have one do they?

Agenda? Nope, they don't seem to have one of those either.

Let's just leave it at complaints shall we? Pick a number and wait to be called. Thank you.

Not me unfortunately....

The first thing I saw was Union stooges, and Recall Walker signs.
I thought, what about apolitical ? Im Independent. I talked to a few people, and ALLof them, wanted jobs. A few people were angry at a bill being passed around, that said Felons wernt going to have to be hired. NOTHING about Obama. I saw a few Obama shirts also. I left after reaching A.O Smith.I actually marched with them . . I support the right to protest, but didnt feel anything, like I did,at the "original " Tea party" protest I went to.

It's a bit hard to understand. I can try to explain to you in brief detail, but its up to you to try to understand. Liberals in congress or should I say progressives have been working at for the last century different ways of destroying the family unit by taking the basic rights of families or individuals and giving women special rights, it's called socialist feminism. That is also why the republican party for the most part opposes gay marriage, it is not because they hate gay people, it's because marriage laws were originally implemented to protect the family unit.

Now if you don't believe me, go check out the socialist party USA web site and read.

Don't take my word for it, go read about it and also check out the social security act which is a big part of it.

They use merit selection to establish these judges in our court system, they used to be voted in and now they are elected by a special committee. Go ahead and look and see for yourself and don't become prey of the radical left.

What part of Constitutional Republic are people just not getting?

I've been back and fourth about OWS for a while. Watched The Colbert Report the other night and got a little spooked, well it was Halloween. Steven interviewed two people in the movement and they started with the hand signs. To me it just seemed a little cultish, I don't know. Watch the video and decide for yourself. The hand signs start at aprox. 1:35.

Ha, ha. Everything's a joke, I suppose.
Could he have cut them off anymore or redirected the conversation to make them appear any more stupid?
Just when they are attempting to explain the hand signals, he cuts them off and turns it into a joke.

Broken communication never accomplished anything and neither does turning serious stuff into a joke.
I wish George Carlin was still alive. He'd know how to add comedy to this so that the protesters were getting a laugh instead of the other way around.

You think this 'movement' is new?

Back in Grandma and Grandpa's day:

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind

www.stlyrics.com...

Almost every word of that song describes the OWS movement of today.

Crap! I remember that song. Never thought of myself as a Grampa though. I guess I could be.

But you bring back memories. I rewrote that song during the First Gulf war. I won’t write the entire thing but the reprise went…

Sayin’ Stop Soldiers, what’s that sound?
Everybody down! It’s an incoming round!

Grampa?...Thanks, now I’m bummed.

Until they welcome the right back into the fold, or active ask for Tea Party support, I believe that it will be nothing more than another divide to conquer.

As far as I am concerned. I offered my support and was flatly rejected at one point because I wasn't part of the GA. I actually felt threatened at the time.

All I asked for was can we come up with a cohesive message. That didn't work out to well.

At least they were polite...for the most part.

Ketchup? Seriously? Who would take a person with a name like Ketchup seriously?

Maybe something edgy...like K-Kat?

That was to funny. OWS needs to step up it's game when it comes to PR.

No way man. Whatever the media is saying about these guys CAN'T possibly be true. You have to go out there and be among them to understand how they really are before you believe such assumptions.

Wait... you did?

Well your opinion doesn't count. Besides you, who else says these kind of things?

Loads of people? Myself included?

Let's face it. You can tell the truth all you want, but people on here and everywhere are going to make their own assumptions, even if they are wrong.

I thought #ows was interesting at first, and I still support their right to protest. I have since changed my mind on ows after finding out that George Soros was indirectly funding them, and after watching the Democratic Party hijacking the movement.

Secondly, I also agree with the opinion that these demonstrations should have been held at the White House to begin with.

No joke intended. I think they explained the signs pretty well if you watched the whole video. As I said, I have been on the fence, but this was creepy in MY opinion that's all.

By the way, I miss George Carlin also.
