Who that is nuts to say in this age. I could see that being said 20+ years ago but times are alot different now but 20 years ago they could arrest you and charge you with being a comi on no evidence and lock you away. We gained so many freedoms and yet everyday we are losing different ones. Right wings like this just want to drive a divide in the people than old fashion hate. I don't understand what makes a gay person attracted to there own sex but that isn't my concern if there happy then who's business is it. Whats this guy so scared of his girl running off with a gay man
.
The thing it would start with the gays then they will turn there eye on the next minority then the next. Sooner or later they will be knocking on your door. Its a little scary if you look at alot of these laws that have been passed from health bills to the monster computers that track the every move. All it would take is a few more bills and they can start legaly rounding people up. Some of the food bills that where passed said you have no right to food so they could starve people to death to bypass all the legal mumbo jumbo.

Happens all the time in a heterosexual direction, too. Clearly straight men and straight women can't be friends, either.

Your friend was an asshole. The lesson you should have learned was "don't be friends with assholes."

Oh "holier then thou".

Who has never made an inappropriate gesture while drunk.

What freedoms are we losing?

I'venever tried to coerce or force someone into sex, regardless of my state of inebriation. So, yeah, if this is a problem for you, maybe you should avoid getting drunk.

Coerce into sex? Is that how you read it? Really?

And - of course - you've never made a pass at someone while drunk to see if they responded or were interested.

Is that right?

I do think it's funny that some gay-basher was kicked out of the TP, as we're still calling the TP "gay-haters".

Very lame conclusion, folks, very lame.

Nah, let 'em have their fun with it.

I'm supposed to be racist against Hispanics and blacks...And yet I'm a Hispanic immigrant and I've never hated anyone darker than me simply for that reason.

I live in a house with a lesbian roommate who is my wife's best friend...My best friend is a gay man.. But we all hate gay people.

Kick a gay basher out of the Tea Party? The message should have been "We don't tolerate the intolerant" instead the posters here got "Tea Party wants to hang gays".

It's classic and shows a lack of understanding.

Yeah, just like conservatives that do unpopular things aren't actually conservatives (Bush is a liberal now, remember?)

Well with the way he spent money it sure does look that way.

A real Conservative would have at least found a way to pay for the wars.

But hey...Obama does it...That makes it ok right?

I'm sure all tea party members aren't racist, but they sure do have a segment that is highly racist. This founder is a perfect example.

Dale Robertson is a man of courage and conviction, a rare commodity in today's topsy-turvy world. Dale, is the Founder of the modern day Tea Party and also President of TeaParty.org

Dale Robertson, a public speaker, a family man with a wife and 5 children, has lead Tea Party rallies across America from its inception.

Here's a picture of Dale:

You bet he is.

And you know full well I'm careful who I stand next to.

Never had to deal with these kinds of characters in Carson City when I went to the TPM rallies.
Maybe the concept is a bit alien to me. Maybe it's just a cultural part of a segment of the country
that find these kinds of idiots.

But here, in Nevada, my Libertarian paradise, I don't find much of this crap. I suppose I am fortunate.

However, one man's racism, or two, or 100, is no reason for me not to support the Tea Party and what they stand for.

Now if the Tea party movement began to actually endorse people like this, then you would find me at odds with them.

But what about

www.teapartyexpress.org...
teapartypatriots.org...
www.teapartynation.com...

And a whole host of other tea party organizations, a loose network, that don't share what that man has put out?

How many supposed "TEA Party Movement Leaders" does it take before it becomes obvious that bigotry and intolerance is what the movement is about?

While I am sure that not everyone in the TEA Party movement is like this, I am pretty certain that this kind of behavior and belief system does make up the core of the TEA Party movement.

These of course are the same people who believed that Obama was born in Kenya, and that he is a socialist/Anti-Christ/Muslim/etc. Even when all the evidence points to Obama being a raging oligarch.

The Public version of the TEA Party movement makes sense, just like Communism on paper makes sense, it's when it's put into practice that we see the real problem with the belief system.

I'm sorry but I don't share your view.

And socialist isn't a racist word. It is a word to describe the political tendencies of the president, which in my opinion, is accurate.

I fully accept the man is a US citizen and as Christian as he says he is(and as BH can tell you I was one of the people in line to kick birther ass). But you see, I don't care about that. Because I'm against socialism, I'm against big government.

And to your experience, how many Tea Party leaders have come out and said I hate blacks or something along those lines?

Aside from the two morons we have here I can think of one other. ALL have been publicly repudiated and simply cutoff from their respective organizations. With exception, maybe, of Mr. Cult of Personality that BH posted. But the fact that his website is still running doesn't mean anyone is a member...So...

The right wing would be a small minority if everyone voted their own interests. So the real right wingers have to recruit many to vote AGAINST their interests in order to be elected. So they use wedge issues to make sure that the dumber half of our society will not tolerate being associated with the left wing. Those wedge issues include race, sexuality, immigration, abortion, and others. So you get a blue collar white guy whose future is bleak because of the corporatists ruining his ability to make a living, but he will still vote Republican because he can't stand the negro muslim commie in the white house. Meanwhile the Tea Party and the GOP continue to stoke the flames of fear and ignorance, because that is the only way they can win.

I just got yelled at in another thread for what people are doing here painting an entire party on the action of a few individuals oh my what a double standard indeed.

interesting you should say that because it seems that the leaders and organizers of OWS are a bunch of socialists being backed by CPUSA and SPUSA, and several of their speakers are advocating violence.

After the poll taken right here on ATS demonstrating the FACT that MOST OWS members agree that violence is necessary to force their BS down the throats of other Americans it is no surprise to find videos of these morons advocating for this. And videos of them counting down and rushing police...Oh and Occupy Rome is an interesting example of what i expect to see here in the near future:

Riot police fire tear gas at ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protesters in Rome

of course, by recognizing it as a double-standard, you must simultaneously acknowledge that your own words and actions in the other thread were less than honorable. the double standard has fingers pointing in both directions.

I will remember this in the future when reading your posts....neo96 is not opposed to using dishonorable tactics to support his bias.

I don't accept the "gay" lifestyle choice.But I
don't accept or condone violence to them either.

Try walking in my shoes for a day read the posts that are replied to me and tell me then i have the same rights as anyone else on here and everyone is free to take or leave what i say.
