Shooting near Reno, Nevada just now. The Nugget in Sparks, NV

It's the age old story. Hell's Angel dancing with a Mongol, Mongol steps on his toes, tripping him. Hell's Angel is embarrassed and has to shoot the poor guy to save face.

Here I am, right after calling people out for making jokes and I'm making jokes.

I hope everyone is OK. Bad idea that many bikers in one spot.

But it's true.
Especially when lubricated with booze, and perhaps a little powdered octane booster.
There is a pretty big Hell's Angels Compound North of town. the perimeter usually decorated with what look like x-mas lights. Not sure how many are visiting from out of town this weekend. But there are Bikes ALL over the place this week. Last big event of the year for Reno/Sparks. Thank goodness...This was not a good year for pancakes, airplanes or bikers..

Rumors of this being motorcycle club related will be cast aside by me until I hear or see any type of credible reporting as such. Just because it is a biker bar (or so I hear) does not mean that it is club related. Every shooting in the history of my city at biker bars has not been related to M.C. wars. And this is a wild effin city. I can't tell you not to jump to judge, but I won't.

Nugget evacuated after shots fired inside casino

The guys in that picture don't exactly look like gambling grannies.

This weekend, here in Reno, is the "Street Vibrations" event, and has nothing to do with "Biker Bars".

It's a time of year when the motorcycles, from all over, converge for a couple days to blow off some steam and have some fun. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be on good terms either.

A recipe for misunderstandings and ego's to go awry.

Growing up in So, Cal, and Washington State, I can tell you for certain, it won't be me trying to talk some sense into a few of these fools.

Yeah, I hear you there buddy. Im in So AZ, so you probably know where I'm coming from. I find it funny how there are no red and white insignia in the pics from the link described, yet Hells Angels are already being discussed by these know it all keyboard commandos in this thread. The only colors I see in that pic is green folks, and those are not any Hells Angels. I don't intend to step on toes, that's just how I see it so far.

The fight started at Silver legacy it was between HA and the Vordos that have a bar right across the street from nugget one man was shoot 4 times in the stomach and toke a reno sparks cab to Renowen hospital
and now Reno police have the hospital lock down

It was not Hells Angel and Mogols it is Hell Angels and Vordos because the Vordos Bar is right across the street fron nugget

[mo When you see it front row and center or better yet be told to hit the grond cause bullets are flying kinda makes possible to know what has happen and by no means would I ever put it out there with out knowing it to be true.
H A has been a good part of my life. And I would never nock or point the finger at in a untrue way I do not believe they were the start of this shooting.

I hope no one was hurt but sorry, nothing shocking about a shooting in Reno. Probably been going on for 200 years now.

I heard the dispatcher mention the coroner over the scanner last night, but didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

When I first heard about it from a friend there at the Nugget he used the term "mass shooting" and "open fire" so I thought it was gonna be something much bigger. I changed the title, but ya - I wouldn't have made the thread after the fact knowing it was one dead and a few injured.

There's always some kind of incident every year during Street Vibrations. It attracts jerks on bikes and meth. That's why I avoid both downtown Reno and downtown Sparks.
