someone there is going to mix in animal porn. You watch.

good grief ..I hope not..

But interesting you should mention that..do they fight against animal porn..?

The drugging of animals , and how they are manipulated for this type of porn is really disgusting,.

I would think if they really cared about animals , this would be up there on their priority list.

Honestly, I think at this point in the game, PETA doesn't care about much other than making tabloid headlines. even such lukewarm animal rights groups as the SPCA do far more for animal rights and safety than PETA has in hte last 20 years.

When I feel the need for charity, I fund SPCA, Sea Shepherd, and other organizations that actually go out nd help animals and work against their abusers. Not these stupid kids posing as activists.

Listen up

This is ATS. Its not some crass schoolyard joke. The smut stops NOW.

Discuss the topic. If you can't do that, don't post. Anything that breaks the T&C will be removed, and appropriate actions taken.

I don't agree with PETA's decision to do this...I think it is foolish.

Having said that...I just have to say....that many of the members posts on this thread....are offensive and really down right vile. I am shocked at the reactions of many.

When their PETA-porn site get a million hits then they can go to whatever backers they can find and ask for more money because their "cause" is so popular.

PETA launching a porn site that also features images and videos of animals being abused is going to do nothing but attract the worst sort of scum the internet has to offer.
This point has more merit than it's been shown in here. Promotionals like these from those inexperienced in the field tend to go downhill quite quickly.

I have an idea 1 million times better.

Make a game that spreads vegetarian and PETA message(s). It can teach them about animals and abuses of them. It can teach them about how to be a vegetarian safely. And so on.

And guess what? My idea won't exclude the kids or the puritans.
And it will also be far more effective at brainwashing the masses. Using something with boobs as an education source is too distracting.

So now PETA = People for the Erotic Treatment of Animals?

Seriously though, I think they've taken this rather go naked than wear fur thing a bit far...

I just don't see how a porn site ties into their message or mission statement at all...other than just to make money.

Yeah, no kidding...

I don't know what's next for the PETAzers... Selling drugs?

"promoting" a message of porn (which can be a fantastical display of cruelty towards women) to raise awareness of animal cruelty... Brilliant!
