hi people, i live in London, i was just watching tv when i notice out in the window two small planes escorting what looked like a big public aircraft, flying very very low and so close together that they looked like they were an inch from touching wings, they went off towards heathrow airport.
i have never seen planes go that close together in my area, they are usually miles apart

Was this the Battle Of Britain Memorial flight?

I've checked their display timetable and they are out and about this evening.

i checked the pictures of those planes and they are not what i saw, what i saw locked like two small privet planes and a big commercial plane in-between. are there any airshows that have this? or maybe training for 9 11

If those planes were like the ones you saw, then the chances are you saw those planes, because frankly, the Lancaster is the only one flying.

And please - do enlighten us - what has that got to do with a "terror threat"?
