IF you mean 'miss' him in the same way one might miss a gangrenous in-grown toenail, . . .

He was evidently a coke using traitorous Marxist globalist, military trashing, woman abusing, power-mongering, self-serving, self-righteous, ARROGANT, childish, petulant, evil bw*tch enabling, ATTACHMENT DISORDERED, adult child of an alcoholic, . . . destroyer of our Republic and way of life.

Fair or not, presidents get credit for what they preside over. Clinton presided over a booming economy and a time of no war.

Al Gore actually deserves more credit than Bill as far as the economy goes. Al was instrumental in driving the legislation that opened up the Internet to public enterprise which we had today. Of course, we all know what happened after that....the biggest tech boom in history. But Bill is good too.

How was it? Tell me why? Even though I disliked Clinton(this is the truth to be honest) very much due to moral reasons and I simply disagreed with his policies, I rather have him in office than Obama or Bush. I thought the 90's sucked while he was in office. but now Obama is in, its just a picnic in the park when Clinton was in office.

Low inflation, low unemployment and a record high federal surplus. He did much more evil things than receive a ********. He used federal law enforcement to stage a military size attack on a church commune where over 200 people were burned alive. He could be a blood thirsty monster. But he also gave us the best economy in our history.

lol, you've got to be joking right?, he gave you nothing, like all presidents they have pretty much exercised no control over the Federal Reserve whatsoever, when clearly the Federal Reserve needs to put back in the hands of the government, anything that went right while he was in charge was either coincidence or planned by someone else for their own gain. Clinton was just another zionist gimp, he even went to a jew for hea*.

Bill Clinton "The Israelis know that if the Iraqi or the Iranian army came across the
Jordan River, I would personally grab a rifle, get in a ditch, and fight and
die."

Bill Clinton, like 99% of American politicians, followed the zionist agenda inch by inch, he even put corrupt jew Wolfensen in charge of the World Bank, and another corrupt jew Madelaine Albright(who refused to take bin laden , when Yemen and Sudan offered to hand him over for the bombings of thier embassies).

anti-semantics at it's best. Clinton wasn't half bad. We had 8 years of unprecedented peace and prosperity.
It took him a while, but he got very good at dealing with foreign countries and we were well-liked and respected.
He cam very close to getting the deficit to zero.
Pushed Republican Congress to raise the minimum wage even though they said it would lead to a recession.

His administration created over 20 million new jobs.(An average of 244,000 jobs per month, the highest of any President on record. This compares to 52,000 per month under President Bush Sr. and 167,000 per month under President Reagan)
Unemployment down from 7.5 percent in 1992 to 4.1 percent -- staying below 5 percent for 29 months in a row.
He was very good at protecting national forests and parks, including protecting Yellowston and restoring the Everglades (lots of stuff was reversed by W unfortunately)
Signed the Family & Medical Leave Act into law
Made the largest investment in higher education in 30 years, and also expanded the GI Bill.

Star for you.

IMO one glaring difference between Clinton and Obama is that Clinton had the political hootspa to get congress and others to bend to his will. He had the charm and charisma to have civil and almost serene convo's with foreign dignitaries and leaders which provided us little conflicts during his tenure.

I keep thinking if Obama had 10-15 more years to season his political mojo and learn how to read a balance sheet better than me, maybe he'd have been the "Change" he proclaimed himself to be.

I think he was 15 years too early.

8 years of peace. That's not what I remember. I remember bombs dropping on Iraq because of a no fly zone. Somalia? They made a movie about that, "Black Hawk Down". Serbia? They made a movie about that one too. "Behind Enemy Lines". Was it Clinton or Jesse Jackson who got the 3 pilots released?

Bombing of the U.S.S. Cole. Waco. Oklahona City. We had a regular Camelot going.

Yes the economy was better, but it was a tech bubble. Most of the deregulation that is causing problems now happened on Clinton's watch.

WTO and WHO. NAFTA. Free trade agreements have done well for our country.

Then there is good ol' Hillary with Whitewater and sitting on the Board of Walmart when they busted the unions. That kinda got washed over when she was seeking the presidential nomination.

8 years of peace.

For our country is but unlike the war on terror, the 90s one is a joke compare to one we have now.

I remember bombs dropping on Iraq because of a no fly zone.

For Iraq, the no-fly zone over Iraq was to keep Saddam from control for oppressing the Kurds and Shiites rebels. However to be fair, Iraq did attack U.S. aircraft patrolling no-fly zones everyday which is an act of war against the United States, President's Clinton bombing of Baghdad for four days in December 1998 for Iraq refusal to comply with UN resolutions, and Saddam's attempt on former President Bush Sr life while on a trial to Kuwait in April 1993 which led to Clinton launching cruise missile strikes on Baghdad two months later in retaliation.

Somalia? They made a movie about that, "Black Hawk Down".

It's one of the humanitarian mission that the UN and our NATO allies wanted us to be there.

Serbia? They made a movie about that one too. "Behind Enemy Lines". Was it Clinton or Jesse Jackson who got the 3 pilots released?

Yep, imposing a no-fly zones over Bosnia to keep the Serbs in check and shot down a pilot. The UN and NATO requested us to be there.

Bombing of the U.S.S. Cole. Waco. Oklahona City. We had a regular Camelot going.

This tend to happen in any country even without most of the control. Clinton wanted a legislation against terrorism domestic and abroad but was voted down by most of the Republican Congress.

Yes the economy was better, but it was a tech bubble. Most of the deregulation that is causing problems now happened on Clinton's watch.

Many a bit true but Bush and Obama getting worser.

WTO and WHO. NAFTA. Free trade agreements have done well for our country.

True but Republicans wanted it to pass as well as some democrats.

Then there is good ol' Hillary with Whitewater and sitting on the Board of Walmart when they busted the unions. That kinda got washed over when she was seeking the presidential nomination.

The one thing President Clinton did that I really thank him for was to allow active duty military VEAP members to convert over to the Montgomery GI Bill in 1996, which is currently paying 70% of the cost for my Bachelor degree program.

It used to be called the "oral office". He was so busy with interns that he didn't pay attention to business, that's why it got better. But considering what we have in the white house now, he was far better. This one is destroying the nation. All that Clinton ever wanted was to have some fun, a little sax, and some billy beer.

MORE DEAD WITNESSES... I MEAN BODYGUARDS:

Steve Willis, Clinton bodyguard

Robert Williams, Clinton bodyguard

Conway LeBleu, Clinton bodyguard

Todd McKeehan, Clinton bodyguard

died: 2/28/93 - "executed" by gunfire in the Waco, Texas assault on the Branch Davidians. - All four were examined by a "private doctor" and died from nearly identical wounds to the left temple, so-called execution style. According to Linda Thompson, videotapes and other evidence indicates that none died from guns fired by Branch Davidians. In his address to employees of the Treasury Department in the Cash Room on March 18, 1993, Clinton said: "My prayers and I'm sure yours are still with the families of all four of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents who were killed in WACO -- Todd McKeehan and Conway Le Bleu of New Orleans; Steve Willis of Houston, and Robert Williams from my hometown of Little Rock. Three of those four were assigned to my security during the course of the primary or general election." However, the Little Rock, Arkansas office of the ATF confirmed that all four had at one point been bodyguards for Bill Clinton, three while he was campaigning for President, and while he had been governor of Arkansas. In the videotape by the American Justice Federation, "WACO II, the Big Lie Continues," Linda Thompson demonstrates that 15 shots were fired from six separate weapons into and out of a room into which three of the four agents had entered through a window. Four of these shots were fired from an overhead helicopter, an agent outside the window, firing an MP5 submachine gun, who also threw in a concussion grenade, fired at least two shots into the room. In the autopsies of these agents, three had virtually identical wounds to the left temple that exited through the rear of the head, execution-style. A "private physician" treated all four.

From a wider world view, no i don't think he was a great president, he wasn't as bad as Bush parts 1 & 2, or the latest puppet in power.

I miss the president i never got to see, who was murdered before i had a chance..JFK.

I'm hoping the US finally sees sense and brings Paul into the Whitehouse. I've a feeling he will be good for the USA and good for the rest of the world too.

Oversaw Clinton's Secret Service detail. In October 1994 Whicher was transferred to the Secret Service field office in the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. Whatever warning was given to the BATF agents in that building did not reach Alan Whicher, whom died in the bomb blast of April 19th 1995

Five Navy aviators, Clinton bodyguards/escorts

(names not determined) died: 3/26/93 - all died in a crash of an E-2C Hawkeye in Italy. The crash occurred shortly after the plane was "waved off" from a landing attempt on the Carrier Roosevelt, due to a "foul deck". - All five men had been Clinton's escorts during Clinton's visit to the Roosevelt 2 weeks prior. Three other men, who had flown Clinton to the Roosevelt for that visit also died later in a helicopter crash.

Staff Sgt. Brian Haney, Clinton bodyguard

Marine Sgt. Tim Sabel, Clinton bodyguard

Maj. William Barkley, Clinton bodyguard

Capt. Scott Reynolds, Clinton bodyguard

died: 5/19/93 - All four men died when their helicopter crashed in the woods near Quantico, Va. - Reporters were barred from the site, and the head of the fire department responding to the crash described it by saying, "Security was tight," with "lots of Marines with guns." The Marines seized a videotape made by a firefighter. All four men had escorted Clinton on his flight to the carrier Roosevelt shortly before their deaths.

President Clinton said Sunday afternoon that he was told the pilot was attempting to return to the Jackson Hole airport when it crashed (CNN news report). The Air Force reported finding no evidence of an in-flight mechanical emergency after examining the flight data and flight voice recorders and could not find evidence that the pilot radioed mechanical trouble before crashing into the mountainside as reported by the White House. No War? Are you serious? Here are just a few examples, in no way a complete list.

1994–95 – Haiti. Operation Uphold Democracy. U.S. ships had begun embargo against Haiti. Up to 20,000 US military troops were later deployed to Haiti.

1995 – Bosnia. Operation Deliberate Force. NATO bombing of Bosnian Serbs.

1998 – Iraq. Operation Desert Fox. U.S. and British forces conduct a major four-day bombing campaign from December 16–19, 1998 on Iraqi targets.

1999 – Serbia. Operation Allied Force. NATO's bombing of Serbia in the Kosovo Conflict.

Granted, he generally got in then got out, unlike today's endless wars but to say "a time of no war" is to wear blinders to the facts of history.

The "no war" argument was the easiest to correct you on, my 2nd argument will actually require some research to understand BUT

Clinton is also responsible for repealing the Glass–Steagall Act, the very act that would of prevented the Mortgage derivatives problem that has brought the economy to its knees.

They (clinton, gore) also brought us NAFTA, if you have forgotten. NAFTA made it possible for many US jobs to go straight to Mexico. NAFTA destroyed the remains of american manufacturing and was a driving force to lower wages.

I could go on and on and gladly will if anyone would like but I think this is enough to show you that your opinion of Clinton is unfounded and ignorant to his actual actions as president.

Luckily 2 years after Clinton was elected the Republicans took control of the House of Representatives for the 1st time in 40 years.

Clinton's terms in office where a success only because Republicans kept him in check.

Clinton's biggest failure was letting terrorism run wild. His inaction in the 93 World Trade Center bombings, the USS Cole bombing and several American embassy bombing, and others led directly to the events of 9/11/01.

Clinton was nothing special.

I understand that but our country was in economic good times though and at peace. Even though those wars did not directly threatened against us(that is until 9/11), most of the wars we were there because NATO and the UN requested us.

Haiti for example because Jean kept asking us to do something so we did something about it. Good point, i'm not saying he's the best but he's better than Obama and Bush.

however it's true that Clinton did ignored several attacks but he was stopped by the Republicans and some Democrats alike because most of them convinced Clinton that if he ignored it, the attack will go away.
