What is ad hominem? Someone poses as a single mom with 9 chilren to further this argument? Can you not see that? If this is not racist, I don't know the meaning of it...9 chilren, give me a break...that post was MADE UP to further your argument, and it just so happens that it is a mom who has 9 kids and doesn't want to work. If you truly are that blind to see that was a bogus point made up completely, well, keep dreaming. Convenient how that made up post fits into your world view. Are you really that blind?

Edit to add: I am reporting them for that bogus post. Check out their profile and it is obvious they are not who they say they are. Hmmmm. "I'm a single momma and don't want to work with 9 chilren" - RACIST. Happy now? Who say's there are not racists in the TP? You just agreed with one! Classic.

If people really paid attention and did some of their own research they would quickly see that the people most interested in holding minorities down are the very same people that are screaming "racist" at the tea party - the so-called progressives.

So, how could this be?

The so-called progressives - with their actual tiny minority - desperately need minority and independent votes to have any chance of winning a national election.

The way so-called progressives get minority votes is to keep as many minorities dependent on government handouts as they can. then the so-called progressives pander to the minorities promising even more handouts from the government. A vicious circle that has in fact kept minorities down for decades, while insidiously promising to do the very opposite.

So-called progressives try and get the independent vote through the use of guilt. The "tea party is racist" campaign we are currently experiencing is a big part of that strategy. IMO there are some here that are being paid to post the racist mantra ad nauseum, but sadly there also seem to be a group of members that want to swallow it whole without even bothering to try and think it through.

I have exposed the so-called progressives' election agenda for you. Up to you to think it through to the moment and say, "ENOUGH!".

The more you make the less you should pay in taxes.

I'd start out those making less than 10k pay 80 percent tax of income

20k can pay 60 percent

30k pays 50.

40k to 60k pays 40.

60k to 100k pays 30.

100k and over are tax free.

Job creators need more money to create jobs.

So, if you make 20 grand a year, you are expecting them to pay $12,000.00 in taxes? So you are expecting someone to live off of 8,000.00? How on EARTH do you expect someone to live off of $8,000.00 a year?

Why don't you go ahead and try it, see how well you do before you put forth such an idiotic tax scale idea.

Oh and those "job creators" getting tax free status, does that also mean they loose all representation in our government? No taxation without representation after all. And do you really expect them to create jobs if they don't have to spend a dime in taxes? What's their incentive?

Is a little more close to straight up stealing from the poor by the Government. Which we all know they are already doing to everyone overall, as well as future tax payers obligations. Course, that's another discussion.

Hey, I am about as far right as one can get when it comes to anti- taxation, but nobody can live off of $8,000 a year. That just sounds to me very unrealistic, and quite cold to those in the 20k bracket. These people have families.

Course, In no way do I support raising taxes on the people who create jobs like the madman International Socialist Obama wants to do. So don't misunderstand. How about this? Let's find out where all the illegals that pay taxes revenue ends up? They present fake Social Security numbers and numbers of deceased persons all the time. This money ends up into the hands of the enemies within so they can waste and do with it whatever these bottomfeeding carpetbaggers please. You know, this has me thinking. This person had just joined and only jumped in a few threads, incuding this one. Perhaps, in retrospect, it was a troll trying to bash the TP? A set up by a false example? I don't know - I have never and would never ask for anyone to be banned - that is not my place - recently I have been zinged by some others who were upset with my posts and I have realized through discussion with the mods the best way to handle it is to report it -again, maybe 5-6 times in 3 years?
I thought the poster would get zinged too -but clearly there was evidence of trollville, TP or not.
I also think that type of dialog should not be encouraged or accepted - ever.

Well, being that DAR supported that Under God thing and I have a Revolutionary Patriot in my family tree, I have no objection to it. I happen to think that God is God whether He is called God, Allah, Brahma, Yahweh, or I Am That I Am, I prefer God and I Am That I Am, but I think they all reference the One true God.

But I realize that I am not the usual sort.

It is really the atheists who have a problem with the God thing.

I have not seen any other posts from that individual but I did think it was odd sounding. Back in the colonial days it was not unusual for a family to have 10 kids especially so they could work the farms, and even when I was in high school, a Catholic family may have 10. I knew a poor Catholic family like that. I read somewhere that more affluent people tended to have fewer children in general.
Then there's Octomom... maybe the poster was impersonating her.
