I have no idea if a thread like this has been posted before (although I am sure it has). It is time for a new thread on this subject as we now see an increase in earth changes at an alarming rate.

I have created a list below of the phenomena that we are witnessing, or have witnessed. There have been so many that I am sure that I will forget to write some of them down.

Increasing/more rapid/stronger:

Seismic activity
Volcanism
Extreme weather
Sinkholes
Mysterious animal deaths
Meteorite impacts
Volatile magnetosphere
Magnetic north changing
Strange noises
Strange lights in the sky
Glaciers melting
Floods
Droughts
Landslides
Disappearing Bees
Strange cloud formations
More comets and near earth asteroids

Some odd situations:

The sun rising 2 days early in Greenland
www.dailymail.co.uk...

Entire river disappears (This is not the only one)

Lakes and rivers/streams turning red

It is undeniable that these events are speeding up, possibly to some sort of climax? The aim of this thread is to delve into the possible causes of these changes.

If there are people that live under a rock and deny that these changes are taking place, could they please start their own thread titled "Earth changes are not increasing". This thread is for those that can see the changes increasing and want to contribute some theories as to WHY they are taking place.

Thanks.

I disagree with this.

I think the Earth is going through some transition.

It's not the end of times.

....sigh.

Please read my original post and watch the videos. This thread is more about having a discussion on what is causing the earth changes.

Ever heard of search option? There are bazzilions of threads just like yours, you could have added your thoughts and insight (which may I add are a lot less then you can find using said option, you just list some events without any comparison to history ar any data at all).

Other that this, it's just fear mongering, the changes you are observing increasing in 'an alarming rate' are usual, and even though it may look horrible (people, all species of animals dying, drying alkes and rivers) it happened before and certainly will happen again.

Be safe and live happy life, living the best of it and do not worry. No doom coming anytime soon.

Another example of somebody that fails to read all of the original post, or reads all of it and ignores certain requests.

I wish their was an antitroll option available when a thread is created.

First of all, forget trying to dissuade argument. The whole point of a forum like this is to allow people on all sides to put forth their opinions. Just accept it and go with the flow. Anything else is like King Knut trying to stop the ocean. Besides I swear there are some people on here who just want to stir up arguments for the sake of it: "Hey I'm bored, oh I know I'll go to ATS and wind up some crazy fools."

With regards to your observation, there is undoubtedly a lot going on right now and I can say with certainty that a major cataclysm will happen, the like of which modern humans have never seen.

The question is when, half a million years from now? A thousand? December 2012? A week on Tuesday? Nobody knows for sure, but it will happen. Guaranteed.

Thank you for your response. Maybe I am a bit uptight, the trolls have had an impact and my mind is not the same. Is there a prescription for troll induced anger?

Its hard to say if we have more earthquakes now than before, we can just detect them now worldwide and even small ones get noticed. There has always been earthquakes.

There is no big difference between volcano explosions now and before.

Extreme weather? There has been more extreme weather before, like around middle ages.

Sinkholes, well these are not reported earlier, but now since mass media, they get reported.

Mysterious animal deaths? Not reported earlier, but now since this "boom" even small ones get reported

Meteorite impacts??? When did last meteor hit earth?

Magnetosphere?, well Sun has 11-year long cycle, we are now its peak and now this cycle is going to be calm. Our magnetosphere will be likely calm for this cycle.

Magnetic north changing? Its changing all the time, but in longer run, its going to south. This is not first time when it happens.

Strange noises? Technology brings noises

Strange lights in sky? I have missed those

Glaciers melting? Some glaciers are melting, but some others are growing. Its natural cycle.

Floods, there has always been flooding, mass media. Same goes for droughts and landslides.

Disappearing bees? At least here in North Europe, they are not disappearing, in fact more and more different species are coming here.

Strange cloud formations, there has always been those, human imagination can be deceiving.

More NEOs? No, we just can detect more of them, ppl in stone age or middle age didn't have massive telescopes to see small space rocks.

considering the op, and what is occurring around the world, the one thing that comes to my mind is a theory not accepted by mostly everyone, but could very well be a possible, if not probable cause of these global events.

the Expanding Earth theory.

understandably, this theory is not an idea accepted by most of humanity (as well as most of you ATS'ers) but then again, there is much about this earth most of humanity does not understand or know about.

for instance, humanity still has very little understanding of the true potential of electro-magnetism, its relation to gravity, and its real impact on the world. there are speculations a-plenty, theories too, but very little that matches the works of Tesla in these "modern" times...and also keep in mind no scientist understands the true mechanism behind what causes earthquakes, especially those don't occur along the major fault zones.

what i propose is that what IS occurring is directly related to some kind of destabilization or reconstitution of some natural and complex electro-magnetic process (one that is simply not understood) within the earth -- a natural result of an Expanding Earth as reflected by the cycles presented by the mayan calendar.

(i for one never liked the widely accepted tectonic plate theory...especially the part where the plate sinks beneath another plate and simply vanishes...)

yes, perhaps this is a far-fetched idea by "normal" standards...but then again, Einstein himself stated that he never came upon his theories by thinking rationally.

consider this simply food for thought (with consideration to the op...)

The above poster beat me to my comment, although I was preparing some facts to go along with it. Almost everything in your list is a natural and normal occurrence.

The same areas that are seismic now and the ones that have been for hundreds of years. There is no increase of size or occurrence of earthquakes that I have noted.

Volcanism goes almost hand in hand with earthquakes, and there has been no change in that either. I don't believe we've had any sort of major eruption this year unless I missed the news.

Extreme weather and weather changes, along with droughts and floods, are a normal part of earth's weather system. Our axial tilt gives us the differences in our global weather, and due to these differences things like droughts and floods are born. The weather will never been perfectly even unless we stop having a tilt and seasons and what have you. But I have not seen an increase in these anyway.

Most strange noises and lights can be riddled away with facts and logic. And those occurrences almost never stem from the earth itself, usually have a man-made cause.

Cloud formations are not strange, and we have had no strange or unusual ones. Most of the "strange" clouds are normal ones that people are just unfamiliar and uneducated about. A quick wikipedia read, or any other info source, will show you that everything we've been seeing is fine. We just like to make things we are uncertain of a big deal.

There are no "more" comets or NEA, we are just developing better technology to track these. We live inside of a giant cloud of comets and inside that cloud is ANOTHER cloud between Mars and Jupiter. There are millions of comets just within our little galactic nook.

The sun rises everyday, so how does it rise 2 days early?

Thank you kindly for your response.

When I look at the earth and see how the continents could easily interlock I do wonder why this is so (continental drift over millions of years seems like baloney to me). It almost looks like somebody exhaled into the earth and blew it up, breaking the continents up and shifting them away from each other. Maybe there is something that happens to the earth on a cyclical basis that causes it to expand or retract at a fast rate (not slowly over a long period of time).

I wish their was an antitroll option available when a thread is created.

Excuse me, but being called a troll really grinds my gears, as I do not resort to such ways of discussion and hate when people do that.

Funny you call me a troll, and accuse me of not reading your 'post'. Believe me i do not suffer from adhd syndrome as most of people on internet nowadays and have no problem in reading huge posts called by some 'wall of texts' and threads with dozens of pages. I think you should reread MY post instead of calling me names. I replied to your post, in the same time adding my personal opinion.

As an avid reader here on ATS I sincerely hate the mess cerated by users starting the same threads instead of joining the ones that already are made. This is my opinioon and I am entitled to one. Thus, having something to add I thoruoghly search the forums to check wheteher the same thought have been shared or not.

You didn't show any interesting insight and just listed occurences, which you treat as anomalies without any comparison to historic data or any alysis.

Than, being criticized by me - which, again I am entitled to do, just like to having my own opinion - you react with calling me a troll.

Now, let's think for a while who's the mature one.

"How does the sun rise two days early?"

You either:

a) did not click the link or
b) clicked the link and did not read the article

There is a period of darkness in Greenland every year due to the fact that it is close to the North Pole (The sun does not rise for a certain period of time during the year in Greenland). This year it rose 2 days early.
