Cops Confiscate Cameras at Ohio Congressman's Town Hall

www.infowars.com

A congressman from Ohio had cops grab the cameras of constituents during a town hall meeting. Steve Chabot, a Republican, had cell phones and cameras confiscated in order to “prevent an embarrassing Youtube video from making the rounds,” according to Carlos Miller, who runs a blog documenting efforts by the state to stifle the First Amendment rights of photographers.

The cops swear an oath to the Constitution of The United States of America and then turn around and violate First Amendment rights the second someone with a suit asks them to. Cops I dont know what side you think you're on, but you are paid by the people to protect and serve this country. You are not here to take away the rights of the people.

Please tell me where has the backbone gone in America? Explain to me why these police officers refuse to stand up for what they take an oath to? It just makes me sick to see this happen in America and I know there are cops out there that take the constitution seriously, but it just seems the ignorance of the majority severely outweighs the educated good men and women in uniform on our streets.

"Are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way"

Sickening.

How many willingly handed over these personal items?

No one resisted?

If so, that is a sad and pathetic commentary on the submissiveness of a supposedly "free people", isn't it?

“prevent an embarrassing Youtube video from making the rounds”

If you don't want an embarrassing video of yourself on youtube, maybe you shouldn't do or say anything that would embarrass you?

I'm not even going to get into why the cops listened to him, because I'll just get mad.

Like the Polizei and Bundespolizei are so innocent.

I love when the East points fingers…

America still has more freedoms than Germany. After all you all are giving up your country in the name of Multiculturalism…we refuse to and will continue to fight. Even against our own government.

Go ahead a surrender....again.

I would never call you a Nazi, unless you admitted to it. And then I would ask …Why?

I am firmly against an entitlement class though. I have fought, scratched and clawed my way to where I am today and cannot rest.

But I see those who contribute nothing to society, getting ahead. Justice? I think not. Fraud? I think so.

I despise lazy people who do nothing to earn their keep in society while they are capable of doing so.

World wide, we are staring class warfare in the face and most do not realize it.

And a bunch of countries collapsing as we "speak" under the unsustainable costs of trying to provide your cradle-to-grave nanny states.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Since those benefits are quickly coming to an end - especially since the collapse of those nanny states is affecting the rest of the world.

I love the cops reasoning: "To protect the identity of the constituents."

Really? With three live television cameras rolling?

Reminds me of the police around here. Four of them will respond to an elderly homeless man resting under a tree on a hot Florida day in the upper class neighborhood, but my mom calls them because a homeless man with a machete handle sticking out of his bag broke into her shed in her fenced in back yard, and it takes an hour and a half for one officer to come to the front door, take a statement, and leave.

It seems a lot like the cops these days are out to protect the money, not the people.

Why did neither of these people raise any fuss over this? Yea, they asked questions mentioned their rights. Im sorry but if I know my rights are being violated and a police officer is being told by people how to uphold the law, im going to make sure that people in the room know this.
