Felt it. Leesburg, VA. Really scary. I am a bit shook up. First time I've ever felt an earthquake.

Upstate NY near albany. Am at work and the whole building shook... rocked back and forth.

Just outside Atlantic City, NJ, my whole apartment building shook, I now have a long, small crack in my ceiling that wasn't there 15 minutes ago. Everyone in the apartment complex came outside to see what was going on. It definitely seemed kinda strong for a quake centered in Virginia, but then again, we don't normally get noticeable quakes here in jersey.

Didn't feel it as far South as Atlanta, but my friends in Buffalo, NY are reporting to have felt it.

Eastern Pa checking in. felt it also. Strongest ever for myself. 2 times, seemed to have a break in between it.

i live in eastern pa and just felt it. friends are posting on facebook that it was felt in ny and mass. it was only brief maybe two small shakes, but still wtf!!!!

Maybe someone is weakening the "foundation" on the east coast, so that when this Cat 4 hits, everything will go under like Haiti? We'll see if this is an occurrence over the next couple of days. Hope Not!

Is everyone experiencing this within 2 hours of the coast?

My son called me; they felt it in Oneonta, NY (about an hour from Albany); said their building rolled like it was a ship. Prior to living in NY, he lived several years in CA and says what they got in Oneonta was definitely the "S" wave, he called it.
