On second thought and reconsideration. I will say anytime a public official makes a joke about the use of weapons it is not funny.

I think he should stick to politics..

He suggested "men with guns" would be around his daughters. This is not a joke about shooting people. Only suggested boys would be intimidated enough to stay away from his daughters.
He did not suggest anyone was going to shoot anyone. You went there.


If mention of the words "men with guns" is so utterly offensive, and perhaps it is in this climate, maybe guns should be controlled....ya think? I will be waiting for you to start a thread on it.
