Wall Street targeted for Britain-style riots,'Day of rage' aims to 'bring down the stock market'

In the wake of Britain's riots, a group of American radicals are planning a "Day of Rage" targeting Wall Street and U.S. capitalism.

The upcoming protests, replete with a planned tent city in downtown Manhattan, is closely tied to the founders of ACORN and leaders of major U.S. unions, including the Service Employees International Union, or SEIU.

There are indications the protesters are training to incite violence, resist arrest and disrupt the legal system.

The protest aims to take root nationwide.

Activists are advertising on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter for a "Day of Rage" on Sept. 17 to begin with the "occupation" of Wall Street and continue with protests across the nation.

Advertisements claim the protests at Wall Street and nationwide will be "non-violent."

However, the official website provides resources, including videos and detailed written instructions, for protesters to engage in "civil disobedience."

The resources provided include instructions on how to resist police arrest and disrupt court hearings.

Similar instructions are provided on the website of an affiliated organization, which calls itself "Occupy Wall Street" and is also involved in planning the Sept. 17 protests.

The use of the term "Day of Rage" recalls the "Days of Rage" organized in the 1960s by the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization co-founded by Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, close associates for years of President Obama.

Numerous radicals, many with direct ties to Obama, are linked to planned protests and other activism scheduled for the coming months.

In March, ACORN founder Wade Rathke announced what he called "days of rage in ten cities around JP Morgan Chase." Rathke was president of an SEIU local in New Orleans.

The planned Sept. 17 protest seems to be the culmination of Rathke's efforts.

Those efforts are being organized by Stephen Lerner, an SEIU board member who reportedly visited the Obama White House at least four times.

In an interview about the planned protests, Lerner outlined his goals: "How do we bring down the stock market? How do we bring down their bonuses? How do we interfere with their ability to, to be rich?"

Forecast for American cities: Confrontation, intimidation?

There are other indications a coalition of radicals and unions are planning chaos using the current economic crisis.

Whether it happens on Sept 17th or not doesn't matter.
It WILL happen soon!!!

All of these riots and mass protests that we have arrogantly been immune to are going to blow up here
in the states and when they do, it aint gonna be pretty.
This is something that I have prepared for.
It is something we all should prepare for.
It is not about just protests!
It is about looting and vandalism and rioting. These are all of the things that can go along with it.

So you take what might be a legitimate protest, at least that is what the majority in it think. Then you get the ‘Black Bloc’ agent provocateurs’ inside to incite the violence. The intelligence communities are probably having fun using social media to get these things going. Problem-reaction-solution.

I wonder if the provocateurs’ will be smart enough to not don brand new black jackets, black tactical boots and black backpacks to cover their lower backs (covering a pistol? perhaps). You can be sure they will wear black bandana masks, black caps and black gloves. They stick out like a sore thumb. Keep an eye out for them and don’t be afraid to point them out.

Sounds like a good day to set off some bombs and hang the protestors with terrorism which will allow the military to intervene, suspend their rights, black hole them in Gittmo until after the election and make the President look tough on terrorism. It will definitely be a frame job if there is a timely/instantaneous response by the military. It shouldn't be too far fetched as I doubt most of them would vote anyway. Throw in a dirty bomb and some risen to link the bombs to Al Qaeda just to make a military response required.

Wall Street should be renamed to Rothschild Boulevard in support of the Israelis who are also protesting.

Sounds exactly like CIA funded anarchy in the middle east designed to create perpetual war. In this case the event is designed to create Marshall law. Hire the disenfranchised, teach them violence, have the cameras rolling and play it for the great Midwest.

Stir everybody into a looting frenzy just before the govt predicted solar storms turn out the lights nation wide. For added division of the citizenry there will be many close ups of minorities looting and cops beating the crap out of them. Rodney king/MLK all over again.

Of course they are planning to stage a nationwide protest. There can't be any doubt after Gore saying we need our own arab spring. The main thing is that people realize this is all bought and paid for by TPTB. They are so afraid that if they don't do it themselves it isn't going to happen. The trouble with starting something is no one can be sure how it will turn out. Riots tend to take on a life of their own.

Okay so I read the article and even visited the DaysOfRage website. I can easily understand and foresee how this will be twisted as a problem-reaction-solution. But some interesting things to note are (and I am just having internal dialogue but feel free to comment!);

Is this for or against American Constitutional Rights?

Is this just pissed off union workers?

Are Obama and Soros puppets of the NWO or revolutionaries that infiltrated the government?

How is the average American going to benefit?

Shutting down Wall Street with protest sounds like an awesome idea. As long as it is peaceful.

The way it is presented by the OP it sounds like a kind of leftist idea. I dislike leftism strongly. But I dislike the banks even more. The banks are the biggest welfare cases in America!

If they clog up Wall Street and protest, they have my evangelical-christian-believing-self's strong support, no matter how filthy their Che T-shirts!

On the US day of rage – Take Part section, they sure do want a lot of traceable info. Name, email, phone number, what city and state. Oh and by the way, their Facebook share for that page; a whopping 13 and twitter follows; a rampaging 31. US Day of Rage - Take Part

I'm really *annoyed* by this post. First off all, this post is copied and pasted from the links the poster provided.
All 3 links lead to the same article....I don't know if this was a mistake?

I wanted to find a link to this *web page* of this group planning this *day of rage* so I could confirm what the poster and this article are claiming. The poster and the article are basically saying that this web site is calling for civil disobedience. Even on the actual linked page the poster gave and copied and pasted the article points a link in the direction of this supposed web site claiming that they want people to be disobedient and when I clicked on that link it went back to their own *search page*

You'll see the link in the article if you go to the link the poster gave 3x's... Again...it re-routes to their own search page.


My instinct about this whole *article* is that someone wants to set up a bunch of people that HAVE a right to protest...they have a REASON to protest... We the people are SICK TO DEATH of being lied to and to have our life saving's taken from these greedy scum bags....it's got to stop!!!! A small select of greedy bastards are ripping off their own people and digging a hole that we have to climb out of...but do they? O hell no... they can steal and lie to us and then have Washington Criminals bail them out!!!

Cops are literally turning off peoples cell phones so they can't get messages to others about a protest? This is a FREE COUNTRY... we have a RIGHT to protest!!!!!!!!!!!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY.... people in the area have a RIGHT to use their phone in case of an emergency...in case they need to call their kids, vise-versa... what right does the dictatorship COPS have to turn off anyone's service??? They need to be sued for doing so!
