The Huff Poo has the story of how Rick Perry got C's and D's when he was in college. Nice. Great journalism. Good digging up the truth.
Um. . .
Where's Obamas' transcripts?
*cricket*

This story just high-lights the complete and utter bias and failure of journalism today. FAILFAILFAIL

Bloody cowards. No spine, no guts. Just shilling for a political party. So go ahead, see Perry's grades. Make coments. Poke fun.
Just remember though, Obama (our coward in chief) still won't release his. And his Ministry of Propoganda (media) will never dig for the truth.

Anyone might as well comment. ATS may be one of the last places on the planet where truth is written here.

Maybe they can't release Obama's because he hasn't got any...

Possible. At this point, I'd accept anything.
The bias just gets tiring after a while.

Like how they poked fun at Obama about his birth certificate because he doesn't "look" American enough? And his name doesn't "sound" American?

Who cares.
And who says he doesn't look American enough? If this is going to be a race-thing, then leave.
If they can dig up college transcripts and make judgements on potential leadership based on grades in college, then it should be applied evenly.

Thank you, Beezy, for failing to surprise me. It's not your fault, it's the politicians. They're never any different. So they were terrible in school and their voting records are questionable. Oh, and the sky is blue!

Then we should stop hiring all these weak-kneed idiots and make it fair for all. Hiding info from the public is NOT the medias job.

good grades don't make as good of a story as bad grades?
nope, it's gotta be that there's a conspiracy to make sure no one learns that Obama had a 2.1 GPA?
Just because you disagree with someone's policies doesn't make them an idiot.
Every politician misspeaks every once in a while, so don't bother pulling up the 57 states video.

I can't believe there are people who endorse a bias. Perry, Bush, Palin. . . sure, lets expose their GPA.

Obama?

*silence*

Ghost, your bias is showing.

Have you seen Obama's report cards or did someone just tell you his grades and you believed them?

Obviously we should simply believe everything Obama says..

How is my bias showing? I think Bush was smart.. Is it biased because I'm not bashing Obama?
I think we should know what Obama's GPA was, and I didn't suggest otherwise, but perhaps there's another reason why there's no story about it? It was a question...should I not propose a question that if true counters your idea?
You're the biased one.
Apparently, if you don't call Obama an idiot socialist you are biased, right?

P.S. Palin is an idiot. If you deny that you are embracing ignorance.

How are they supposed to get his transcripts if he doesn't authorize a release of them? Do you want them to break the law?
If someone leaked his transcript and they didn't publish it, then yes, you would have a point. Until you have a shred of proof of this...

A bias is shown when seeking or showing favouratism one candidate over another.
Your previous post indicated that having one set of standards for one candidate over another would be acceptable.

If you're implying that all candidates should be treated equaly, then I apologise.

Why won't he release them? What is he afraid of? Did Perry release his? Or are they public record?

It might be awkward to show Barrack's transcripts with Barry's name in the box. I can't even see the kid running the press room coming up with enough spin to explain that one.

I didn't imply that in the slightest. You just assumed that because I didn't agree with you.
The only thing I indicated in my post was that news sources are a business, and they create stories that sell.
I didn't say my opinion of it. I'm wholeheartedly against it.

So you DO think there should be a double standard?

EXPLAIN!

Please quit pulling the race card. That game is likely what got Obama into the White House - if I may say the word "white" without upsetting you - and it's therefore indirectly responsible for this mess our country is in. (I use the word "our" to be inclusive to all Americans: White, Black, Brown, Yellow and more, OK?)

And as far as the birth certificate reference you made, I'm willing to drop the controversial issue - but many aren't: www.examiner.com...
