I don't see how raising taxes is going to fix a single thing - Many are struggling to stay afloat, less net income isn't going to help at all.

As this all unfolds I become more and more suspicious that we are all being sold.

ok, meh...standard points speech, nothing of real note beyond "S&P is ghey, We need to hold hands in congress, and oh, our soldiers rock!". not sure what the point is...we don't need a potus to point out the obvious...we need for a actual bipartisan committee of anonymous to go into a dark unmarked room and come up with solutions...no names, no knowledge of who is behind it, and let them do work that benefits the nation verses any party.

The problem with committees and such...we know who they are, so they will cater towards political points verses solutions.

The speech should of started "I just came from firing Little Timmy Geithner, and Air Force 1 is warming up to take me back to Chicago".
