Tropical depression right now, gaining power and heading towards america. It will be making its way into florida in a couple of days 2-4. This is not needed right now with the debt crisis worsening. As well as the hailstorms to top the icing on the salad

The forecast shows little chance of the storm maintaining even tropical storm levels for long. Puerto Rico and Hispanola are going to get hit (probably not hurricane force).

The large mountains on Hispaniola are supposed to tear this storm apart meaning Florida will probably only get a weak tropical storm from this system, probably 40-55mph winds. If it manages to avoid Hispaniola then there is a good chance it will be a strong tropical storm/weak hurricane when making landfall. Since I live on the east coast of Florida I am hoping it does not come in strong. The projected path gives it two different directions when approaching the coast here; it will either hit south of Titusville or will miss the state altogether.

Either way where I live we will get some of the storm as we always do when they hit Florida’s east coast. Usually when those storms reach the Jacksonville area they are pretty weak but sure love to start spinning off tornadoes.

This is going to be a fun storm.

It wont be a hurricane and it will barely be a tropical storm, more like depression by the time it hits Florida.

I'm gonna sit on my balcony and have a drink and enjoy the weather! I hope there is lots of wind, rain, lightning and thunder!

I do enjoy hurricane season as long as they are below a 2
