I remember when I was a kid, we would sit around watching the Sunday night Walt Disney hour and passing around the jar to shake.

That butter was incredible!

7 O'clock every Sunday....
Disney made a lot of nature films back in those days...
I kind of miss them... it was a gentler time... great time to be a kid too...
so sad that we lost the family togetherness... in favor of video games and fast foods.

I couldn't get this thread outta my head until I tried this myself. I didn't use a jar though, I used an electric mixer thing (the kind you lick the brownie batter off of) and too much salt.

Next batch will be better but it was good on dinner veggies...

Hey now. My family plays video games together. My wife, 4 kids, and I.

Don't be hating.

Agreed... in small douses it's okay...
but come on now... you and I both know there are those parents out there who use the TV as both baby sitter and a means to keep their kids out of their hair...

My granddaughter loved to play that angry birds game with me... but she's just as quick to ask to go outside... in fact she's rather be exploring the woods... me too

We have replaced sitting around watching TV at night with playing video games.

We still go do other stuff.

All I am saying is don't be hating. Some people watch TV or movies, some people read, some people play board games, and some play video games. Family time is family time, no matter what is done.

Edit: This thread is quite interesting. I am going to have to try this
