This is actually becoming infuriating now!!, they think of us as sheep, that were so pre-occupied with call of duty or our day jobs that we arent gonna reply ''shock bracelet, hmmm good idea for security.......ACTUALLY WAIT A GOD DAMN MINUTE!!''

Well as someone having been born with congenital heart disease, that device would probably kill me. As well as the other people with health problems...would they be able to opt out for safety concerns,or do we put our lives in the hands of a stewardess/steward? Wow very scary thought.

The electrical shock from a police Taser stun gun could cause cardiac arrest, a Vancouver heart surgeon told a Taser inquiry Tuesday.

There has to be underlying heart disease or other contributing factors, such as lack of oxygen due to asphyxia or massive blood loss or severe metabolic abnormalities such as acidosis or abnormal potassium levels, Janusz said.

Obviously they'd have to allow an opt out for people with a condition such as this, rendering the policy useless. A terrorist would merely have to forge the necessary paper work, and bam no shock collar. Then, if they are able to take control of the plane, they could activate the shock collars for everyone else, rendering them all incapable of stopping the hijacking.

And we should also put shock bracelets on the wrists of all politicians. That way anytime they think about passing something stupid we can quickly and easily incapacitate them.

First these will be for airline passengers, then for bank customers then for public gatherings. Before you know it the govt could have total control using devices like these. This is madness, it basically is assuming that you are a criminal. How many attacks have there been since 9/11 on airplanes? How many deaths?!!?!? When you think how many lives are lost from other activities it seems totally unjustified.

Ugh! Just saw this on Yahoo news, dated July 6, 2011: news.yahoo.com...
It states that:
"Passengers flying to the United States could now face even tougher screening measures, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration, Nicholas Kimball, told the Los Angeles Times."
Further:
"Measures may include interaction with passengers, in addition to the use of other screening methods such as pat-downs and the use of enhanced tools and technologies."
