Thing is, is it coming our way?

This looks just like the video I saw from Gizmodo where they were saying the ejection was reaching Earth last night around midnight (central time). Not sure how to confirm if this video is the same that was out there a few days ago. Awesome video none-the-less!

It was not ejected directly at Earth. SpaceWeather.com is a great source of information regarding the sun's activites.

Traveling faster than 1100 km/s, the CME should deliver a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on June 9th. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras when the CME arrives.

You should go on SOHO website, it is planned to hit us the 10th of june which means tomorrow.

I believe that is called a coronal mass ejection. CME for short. They're common from what I understand. What I do not know is if one of that size is normal or not.
