Your attitude of "why not, it must be real" scares me lol!

No desire to get to the bottom of this, no need to think critically right?

These are merely image artifacts from the stitching of images together. These ONLY appear following some lines where 2 different images are stitched together and ONLY on Google Mars, not the original images used to make your Google Mars.

Believe me, i would really want this to be real, but this is not evidence at all lol.

But like most people, ive figured out that those programs arent the place to be looking for any kind of evidence of life or structures on another planet.

Ive spent countless hours looking at GMars, Gmoon etc etc.... and although i cant explain everything, i was able to see that most anomalies out there repeat themselves following straight lines or exactly where 2 different images meet.

Anyways... use your brain, dont just accept things based on what you think you already know. Do you really think that after all the years google mars has been up , that if there was something in one image, they would leave it up on your google mars? no way man, you wanna prove something with a mars photo, get the original.

definitely very interesting no matter how you think they got there (the columns)
not the "bunkers"

It's a wonder why more knowledgable people bother replying in threads like this again and again regarding the same things. To the OP, these are computer-generated artifacts as a result of the stitching process. To those who see "buildings" like those at Machu Picchu, they're mountains exactly like you can see on Earth from space, and delusional minds like yours really should be spending the time on more creative activities, preferably away from the internet.

Wishful thinking is not an excuse for stupidity. I don't comment in threads like these much and normally avoid them like the plague, but was a little curious this time, only to be disappointed as I was expecting to be anyway. Critical thought, logic and reason go out of the window in threads like this.

There's an old (probably) saying:

Let the idiots amuse themselves - Just sit back and watch with a smile.

37°26'17.64"N 99°37'26.94"E

This is one i have found and seems to be biggest ive come across, yes this could be artifact but not like ones ive seen before and I base test gpus.

And you could expect some anomalies in stitching but if that was the case i would expect to see them everywhere and a constant.

But who knows but still i find interesting.

Imagine an alien looking at google earth in a remote area . There are distortions , pixel stretch errors , perspective errors in most frames. Google mars can never be a credible source because its the same.

Find the same image in the nasa archive and your onto something

I am not even surprised by this.

After seeing Hoaglands work I am convinced already.

the glass tubes on mars is all the evidence i need basically.

One is simply not going to make a 'discovery' viewing Google Earth, moon, sky, or Google Mars! What could one possibly be thinking?

They're pyramids?

The Us Government just released a statement and admitted, "yes there was once a great civilization on Mars". Recently uncovered documents released from area 51 describe a great civilization that was far advance beyond the capability of its uneducated populace to maintain. This paradise was destroyed by over financed and bloated real estate markets, free internet porn and a powerful group known only as Disney. One day as planet known as Newbie passed by and sucked away the planets life force, alcohol. The civilization collapsed and soon there was nothing left but empty shells of former Superstores that we see today.

Those glass tubes are one of my favorite Mars anomalies too.

Wow very interesting. I really like the picture of the darkly colored square structure.

Probably a very old building way back when we used to populate Mars - before the atomic bombs fell - and we moved to Earth, to suffer diseases and dinosaurs. But look at us now, on the brink of another Mars, but no dinosaurs at least...

While I do believe there is evidence of a past civilization on Mars, these are unfortunately just artifacts from two images that have been stitched together, (notice how the artifacts are exactly the same) these 'artifacts' are very common on both the Moon and Mars images from Google Earth.

If you are interested in searching for anomalies Google Earth is not a good source, NASA don't make it that easy. Even though very hard to navigate (guess why)? Always search the original image databases.

Do you have any idea where we can find it?
Sure.

This is a good place to find original images, not only from Mars but from many NASA missions.

Unfortunately, the way things are arranged in those servers doesn't help when we don't know which image and volume to look for.

That's why I use this site, it's easy to use and it identifies the photos, so we just need to look for that image ID on the PDS servers. This and this are also good ways of searching for those original images.

Reflections like when the story emerged from the face on Mars. But I dont think so.
I never heard about reflections, where did you get that version?

How can you be so sure? Because, in this way, it seems we have a "conspiracy" of bad professionals working in google.
I cannot be really sure, but I am as sure as I can be of something that I didn't made myself. I have seen dozens of cases like that in the last 7 or 8 years; in a mosaic made of images from one camera and with the same resolution, nothing like that happens, but when we mix different cameras and resolutions, things start to be noticeable.

Google uses the same method as YouTube to hide the flaws, they blur the edges of the photo (YouTube blurs the whole video when they resize them) to make it look better at a distance. I guess they never thought that so many people would be looking so close to those images.

And it's not a question of bad professionals working in Google, some things are just more difficult to make than others. I don't know if you remember when Google announced that they would be linking HiRISE images directly on Google Mars. They did it, but they stopped updating their images, so while the HiRISE archive keeps on growing, Google (apparently) still has the same images they had when they started to put them on Google Mars.

this seems too be a big hoax..nothing is clear in these pictures except maybe Photoshop or a camera malfunctioning.

I suggest you get more (and updated) information about those "glass tubes".

What I find odd on this part of Google mars is from the left we get the usual land scape textures .......then as we hit the edge of the proposed structure beyond to the right it looks like a bad clone brush job?.....

p.s but they did replace the craters over the top of the layers....how nice

So what are the new theories on it?
