In this article by MIT they talk about Ultra Low Frequencies right before the Haiti earthquake.

Last year, we looked at some fascinating data from the DEMETER spacecraft showing a significant increase in ultra-low frequency radio signals before the magnitude 7 Haiti earthquake in January 2010

And a heating of the Ionosphere just before the quake.

They say that before the M9 earthquake, the total electron content of the ionosphere increased dramatically over the epicentre, reaching a maximum three days before the quake struck.

Both of these things are reported to be possible by HAARP.

...And of course the debunkers are nowhere to be found when presented with the evidence they always cry for.

Lames.

haha yea I would have to say that this is some pretty compelling data, published by some very reputable sources.

Does anyone have haarp's magnetometer print outs for both those days?

I fail to see how this is "proof" that HAARP can do what you think it can.

Correlation is not causation. Just because there is proof that the atmosphere was in a heated state before the earthquakes doesn't mean that HAARP did it.

Even you said: "Both of these things are reported to be possible by HAARP."

"Reported to be possible" != "can and did"

Yeah, you can cause all kinds of havoc with a less-than-5 watt signal.

ELF signals generated by the HAARP heater are also simultaneously observed at a nearby ground‐based site, allowing a comparison of the ELF power in the Earth‐ionosphere waveguide versus that detected on DEMETER. The estimated values of power onboard DEMETER at different frequencies range from 0.32W to 4W, while the values of power estimated from a ground receiver at a distance of 36 km from HAARP range from 2.71W to 4.22W.

If someone can explain how to cause an earthquake, or alter the weather, with less than 5 watts worth of ELF signal, I'd be very interested.

From the article about the Haiti Earthquake:

As we can see, there is a significant increase in the mean energy recorded a month before the main earthquake which remains at the same levels approximately for 25 days after, while consecutively decreases gradually.

Why would "they" keep HAARP "running" for a month after the earthquake?

From the article about the Japan Earthquake:

One of the main parameters we used to characterize the earth’s radiation environment is the outgoing long-wave-earth radiation (OLR). OLR has been associated with the top of the atmosphere integrating the emissions from the ground, lower atmosphere and clouds

arxiv.org...
HAARP heats an area of the ionosophere above Gakona, Alaska. The ionosphere is 10's of miles higher than than what they are talking about. HAARP cannot affect the lower atmosphere because the air is too dense, there are too many neutral particles and not enough ions.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, i'm not saying this is 100% proof, i'm looking for answers here.

If this is a truly natural phenomenon then maybe this could be the way to predict earthquakes.

....maybe this could be the way to predict earthquakes.

THAT is what the science is most likely showing.....that possibility.

People, when you read this and it's over your heads (literally), it does no good to flip it around, and try to reverse-engineer this as "HAARP did it".

HAARP cannot *cause* earthquakes...but, underground seismic activity, apparently, can cause measurable effects in the upper atmosphere...observable, and possibly useful. Of course, even seeing the atmosphere react, then there is the minor problem, it seems, of localizing the point on the ground....that is going ot need much more research, if it is even viable at all.....

Any one thought that if its not haarp.
what is it?
and can it be used to find the earth quakes?

hit two rock quarts together in a very dark room.
it gives off energy as light.

But if you switch the light on in the room, the rocks to not leap up and bang themselves together.

how does HAARP heat the ionosphere over japan ?

yes it is a trick question

but i want the believers to rationally explain how HAARP or for that matter any ground based radio transmitter can directly affect any location greater than its practical range of 1400km [ single bounce ]
