Why is russia being so quite?

Just a simple question.
It was russia this russia that russia hit us with a wiffle ball bat not that long ago.

Now you dont even hear one word about them our how there getting along.
are they pissed at america ?
are they gaining allie's to one day try to overthrow america?
Just saying when a major country like russia doesnt say anything ...i smell a plot .

I hope they are just waiting for Israel and the Muslims to kill each other. I feel really bad for Russia because they have such crappy neighboring countries, probably the worst in the world.

Well, I know Russia have been very vocal about the Libya thing. But anytime they condemn the US or Europe for attacking countries in the middle east, all I can think is "F******g Hypocrites!"

I think since Russia has been getting along better with the West lately they may want to try and keep things that way for awhile. They may be upset over Libya but I don't see it as a deal breaker for them honestly. If you look back in history Russia has sided with Western nations in all major wars to my knowledge and I believe should all hell break loose in the future they may yet side with us again.

Russia is quiet because they aren't relevant anymore. It's a hard truth, but there it is.

Russia is being quiet because they have seen this before. They even tried to warn the U.S. that it's current policies will do nothing except make things worse. Russia was able to get rid (for the most part) of it's parasitic
infection which took the greater part of a century (almost). It is doing much better than it was in that freedom of expression is slowly returning, the economy is much better than 40, 30 or even 20 years ago. People don't disappear in the middle of the night anymore (I think). All that is starting to rear it's ugly head here in the U.S.
(except for dissapearing in the middle of the night with agents part........yet).

No, I think Russia is being quiet now because it already knows where this path is leading the United States.
Just wish our politicians understood that sometimes, silence speaks volumes.

We should be doing what Russia is doing in a small way, although I believe when it comes to critizing us they need to shut the # up if they aren't going to help, even with peace talks, that costs no money.

We need to focus on our own issues instead of spending money on wars.

If we are going to spend the money we are spending, why not help the people in the world that are dying from simply starving to death, instead we help those who are fighting because there is oil in the area that is in our interests.

If there was oil where the people are starving to death at, we would be there with arms wide open. How about Russia stepping to the plate with that and helping? What, it's not worth it? Thats my problem with it all.
