Well, it would harm me. But then so does going to the beach and seeing what people are willing to expose there. Some people look better in clothes.

But, there are plenty of cultures in which the women go topless, and all the people wear are little bits of cloth to keeps their danglies from getting caught in things, or attacked by the family cat. And they dont seem to have the problem of people raping one another all over the place.

Sexual arousal would be confined to situations where it was apropriate. Perhaps people would even become more at ease with themselves and their sexuality.

Promiscuity has nothing to do with nakedness. It has everything to do with being selfish and thinking that it is ones right to be so. Some people want to sleep with every woman they can get their grubby hands on, but that's because they have a warped sense of self and what makes them "a man".

The more partners we have, the more weakened our species becomes from STD's. So it's a means of steering our species in the right direction.

The more we spread our genes the stronger the population gets. That's a fact.
What makes our species weak is our willingness to invent wheelchairs and prostetics rather than figuring out what it is in our environment we should ban, so that we have more healthy offspring. But of course banning unhealthy compounds will take profit from major companies and those who produce the wheelchairs have to make a living as well.

I agree with you. Women do put themselves in that position. I am a woman and it irritates me to no end. The youth who would view this will think that all women are sex objects, and all women do not exploit themselves.

Nobody is forcing women to report the news naked, or have sex on film, or wear revealing clothing at Hooters, etc. If a woman doesn't want to be looked at as a sex object, then it's their job as an INDIVIDUA

So what about those who dont and still are seen as such because they are a member of this gender. I know of people who think all women are sex objects even when there is no evidence of so. This can be expanded to every type of group a person can fit into such as with a profession, race, ethnicity, age group, income etc.

I would think some parental responsibility is in order here. If it bothers you, step up to the plate and take control. I also doubt anyone outside the US cares much. We are terribly puritanical and afraid some T&A will warp our childrens' minds. It's pathetic.

I dont mind taking on someone bigger than me, because I dont mind losing if it comes to that. And, granted, I am big for my gender. (5'10") But Ive seen women much smaller than me lose their minds and attack someone too, so, its not all about size.

Defend yourself. Carry mace if you dont like the feeling of knuckles on flesh, and mace the crap out of them. What are they going to do? Call the cops and say "I was groping this girl and she maced me?"

Better to die on your feet than live on your knees. I dont ASK other people to respect me. Its not an option for them.

I used to watch naked news in the UK. I love it,

The thing about this program is that you need to have a good sence of humour. There is something quite absurd about a news presenter slowly undressing whilst simultaniously giving what was often a rather good run down of the days events! It is this absurdity which makes it so much fun to watch, and of course the end result, which is a pretty damn sexy woman with no clothes on.

Does it treat women as sex objects? Not in my opinion. This program is much more multi layerd than just being titilation, or just being a bad taste news show - which it might be on one level... It will offend a lot of people who can't see past the nudity, but I for one think it is great. I like naked women. And the juxtapossition of serious news and totall nudity is a fascination experience.

Would you not consider that the persons doing the groping and calling were the ones to blame?

Is it not part of your job to help stop this behaviour?

What you are advocating is the very same we try to fight with the muslim community in some areas, where they want their women to wear burkas - and one of the reasons they give is because men otherwise will get too exited and prone to rape and assault.

That's a good point, I can see how if the only image of women you get exposed to is big breasted bimbos it would create a slanted perception of women. But again I think of body builders, not all men are supposed to look like that yet people can see them without an issue. Perhaps if those were the only women you saw it'd be bad because you'd think it was typical, but for a mature adult who knows how to keep things in perspective I don't see a problem.
