I think they are walking bowlegged from being scooped so often by the alt news on the net, so they're a bit gun shy and waiting for the news to come out from an alt source so they don't have to work so hard.

You can't say the MSM can't be trusted, then link to them as a source.

It dawned on me after reading an account on an internet story, where it was proported that the mission of taking the compound nearly went awry with the crash of the helicopter outside and coresponding noise. It was stated that there were three floors, and that the Seals came in on the bottom and quickly secured floor by floor until they cornered Osama in a hallway..... (their words) At that point if becomes an information black-out as far as particulars until Osama is later buried at sea. There has been much speculation as to whether or not the photos of the dead Osama will be shown, and this is where it 'dawns' on me that they couldn't. That is, they couldn't show the pictures of his head because the forensic evidence would show that the pistol that killed Osama was pressed against his head, and he was exicuted, mabe after some gloating words from the trigger man. I'm sure that would in itself speak volumes of the actions that took place that early morning in Osama's compound on the third floor. My guess was that the coup de gras, was a shot ( the second ) to the heart. SO that is why you might never see those pictures, or they will convieniently dissapear.

So you're accusing the Seals of lying, and of executing bin Laden? Based upon pictures that we will probably never see?

Fine by me if they executed that a*hole.

Whoever they killed, I bet they used some sort of poison darts. I also bet the pilot of the helicopter was thousands of miles away, that is why struck the wall as he landed. Maybe the seals were not even humans. Robots are good at killing the unarmed without remorse. All theory here.

Whenever I witnessed (live or in the news) special forces raiding a house with helo's, they hovered above the house and the guys lowered down on a rope, either to the roof or directly through windows.

In the "official story" they landed on the ground in a very narrow comparted area (too narrow here, judging by the crashed helo). Landing is quite risky as well because all the sand/dirt gets washed up by the rotor's downwind, and can leave to a "whiteout", leaving the pilot blinded.
After landing they supposedly worked their way UP in the building.

So for the specialists out there: What you make of that ?
What would the "standard procedure" be ?
Why would you land/start from the ground ?
Why not from the air ?

If you read quotes by official sources, the original plan WAS for a helicopter to hover above the house and troops to repel down (as well as troops on the ground). But when one helicopter was forced to 'crash land' when trying to hover, they decided not to risk it with any others - so they dropped them all on the ground and the troops had to work their way up the building.

"The first was when the operation's helicopters first arrived at the scene. The plan was for the choppers to hover and lower 12 Seals to the ground rather than land. But one of the choppers stopped working due to a lack of air within the high compound walls. It made a soft landing (not a crash) on the ground and the raid went forward."
