I don't know we're you get your info... Tea Party People are not filled with hate.... Yes they are Angry, but Anger is not hate... I am not a Tea Party person, but I have been to a few gatherings... they for the most part are all nice people, who accept everyone... it is easy to sit back, in another country and pass judgement, but you have no Idea what you are talking about.

it is messed up from a myriad of reasons and sorry to say its not all the republicans fault.

the current state of the unions is the direct result of decades of stupidity.

and one of the biggest reasons among many many others is the central bank of america the federal reserve

The tea party started with Ron Pauls campaign, it was such a big movement that it needed to be controlled. If anyone wants to know what the tea party once stood for just look at Ron Pauls platform.

By the way, I'd like to tell you a hilarious story from the experiences of a Swiss friend of mine, except making people laugh would be off topic.

Suffice it to say that regardless of the opinion Americans are gathering of the Swiss from your comments, the Swiss I've known are abundantly cheerful and have a great sense of humor.

The Swiss who've come to America that I know, they've proven to me to be industrious and with good to great entrepreneurial spirit.

I've had great debates with some Green Party folks over here. The talks get very heated, but in the end, we laugh, we drink, we drink some more, and it's all good. People are allowed their own opinions. Always.

And exactly why I didn't watch the video. I know how I think and feel already. No doom and gloom thoughts. Just disgust at the direction our government is heading. Obamacare was the straw that broke the camels back.

The longer the USA is around, the more laws show up in the books. Perhaps it is time for a cleansing. A sort of cleaning out the attic of government. And take the federal government back to the bare bones intended by our constitution. Otherwise the US will be no different or special from any other country.

For the record I am not a Tea Party member. My ideology is far more radical than theirs, because the Tea Party still believes that America's problems can be solved through the political process and elections. I saw this "documentary" long before you ever thought about posting it, so I don't need to watch your videos. To an informed person, the videos that you have presented are old news. The reason that many people say the same stuff is because they all believe in the same ideology, hence the fact that they are all in a group. Besides, the Tea Party platform is pretty simple really. Basically it's "Hey federal government... leave me alone, leave my family alone, leave my state of residence alone, and leave my hard earned money alone. As a matter of fact, completely stay the hell out of my life." There it is, the Tea Party platform in a nutshell.

What was really funny was the goon from Center for Public Integrity condemning the Koch brothers for being concerned about their country's future. CPI is almost entirely funded by far left billionaire George Soros. The same George Soros who bought, paid for, and owns completely our Marxist in Chief Barry Soetoro. You condemn the Koch brothers for trying to turn this country around but have no problem with a Hungarian socialist actually buying the US presidency? And you expect anyone on the right to take you seriously?

There is a glaring issue of context here..."tea party movement"; throwing a "teaparty" and

I really wish you would take the time to read what you reply to. I see nothing in what I wrote about treating anyone any kind of way. You asked if there was any real interaction with real TEA party people and I was simply asking if the TEA party people on ATS count as interactions with real TEA party people. Seriously dude, exactly what do you know of the Tea Party that wasn't presented to you by some form of mainstream media? Since you don't even live in America how can you be familiar with what goes on here besides what you see on tv or read on the Internet?

Have you ever said the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag?
Have you registered with the Selective Service when you turned 18 so you could defend America?
Have you ever voted in an American Presidential election?
Have you watched your elected officials consistently vote for laws that are not in your best interest?

Unless you can answer yes to every one of those questions, I don't think you are qualified to speak of, much less debate the pros and cons of the Tea Party.

It was an honest reply. If you want to base the Tea Party on ME, then go right ahead. You'd be limiting yourself, though.
You see, I'm a Tea Party member.
I am in the service.
I am an Independent.
I could give two hoots about gay marriage or anything like that.
I am anti-abortion.

But. . . .

Not all Tea Party members think the same way. Some may be pro-abortion. Some may be anti-gay ANYTHING. Some are democrats, some are republicans. It'd be narrow-minded to judge the Tea party based on me. I am an individual. I take no money from the Koch Bros. I take no money from the GOP. And yet, due to my and my groups actions, I had a Utah state senator (incumbent republican) call me at home in the last election and argue with me about his record. (I guess he reads my stuff) Anyway, he lost and our guy won. And we did that without a dime from ANYONE.
There are conspiracies about how the Tea Party got started and the reasons why the Tea Party got started.
But like Frankensteins monster (nod to Mary Shelley) we developed a life, a mind of our own. Regardless of who created our movement, and it's initial purpose.

Hope this elaborated on my previous post.
