the state can't afford to pay you dumbasses. maybe you shouldn't have voted in those politicians who promised you huge salaries and pensions and great job benefits....because you knew it wouldn't last forever. or are you really that dumb?

all I see here is a bunch of spoiled workers who got used to having it easy.

oh and by the way, thanks for running my state into debt.

This is getting ridiculous. I'm tired of union workers complaining about not getting their free handouts. Since when has government been about running our lives?

I'm sick and tired of these entitlement programs and acronym organizations that do nothing be teach people how to not rely on themselves. The union asses are one of the main reasons that people aren't waking up in this country.

If you are going to protest, do it for something worthwhile. I'm getting tired of sending my money to programs that I have no interest in having or benefiting from. It is about time other people felt the same.

Yes, all those union people, which make up a paltry 14% of the entire working population are "real dumbasses" for electing all those republicans that want to tax the poor and middle class so they can give tax breaks and bailouts to the wealthy and big corporations. Sorry, but are you out of your mind? Do you even know the history of the labor movement in this country, the "politicians" did not "give" workers anything...they had to fight their asses off for it and negotiated their own wages through collective bargaining, a basic right that exists in all other civilized countries in the world that now many Republican governors are trying to do away with (and are! because apparently it's better for the big corporations if our workers could be employed for the type of wages they make in places like malaysia and china). A race to the bottom is what people like you are advocating. You must really hate the American worker. I actually read "The Jungle" when I was in high school, did you? Do you even understand why we had the largest time of economic prosperity and huge expansion of wealth and the middle class during the 40's, 50's and 60's which was also hugely responsible for making the U.S. one of the best countries in which to live...I'll give you a hint, it wasn't "tax breaks for the rich", "corporate bailouts", "union busting" and "neo-liberal" (laizzez faire) economic policies. You must really hate the middle class and poor people don't you. All this blather about how Americans are so "lazy" cause "all they want is their handouts" when in fact Americans have the longest work week in the entire first world, along with the least amount of vacation/sick days and fewest benefits (if they get benefits at all, most don't)...yeah, what a bunch of "lazy" "whiners" how "dare" they want to be able to feed their families and be healthy and have a home and stuff. But one thing workers can take comfort in is knowing that they won't have to pay as much for retirement since they aren't living as long. Now the U.S. life expectancy and infant mortality rate is among the worst of any of the developed countries (source). So, apparently the T-baggers and folk like yourself would rather live in a country that looked more like Pakistan because those "evil nazi socialist" European states like Sweden and France, where people live longer and can afford homes and can see doctors when they get sick, are all probably such "horrible" places to live. Seriously, you people must really hate the middle class...as all your neo-liberal economic policies, regressive tax policy and "bailouts for the rich/austerity for everyone else" are certainly doing a great job at killing all those advancements that our grandparents, "the greatest generation", fought so hard for to make this country great. No wonder the majority of Americans think this country is going in the wrong direction, 3 decades of idiotic corporate backed (&bought) policy combined with presidents that were nothing more than tools for the rich elite and oligarchy...and you blame people who actually work for a living. Shame on you for hating on the middle class and wanting to reward the same bankers and billionaires that just tanked this economy and were the folks actually responsible for the debt in this country (here's a hint, the bankers crash the economy = revenue goes down = debt goes up).

How some people want a return to the days of the robber barons is beyond me...but actually, it's looks like we might nearly be there. The cognitive dissonance, is just astounding. The failure to examine the numbers and see what they actually mean is astounding. The amount of ignorance surrounding government policy and economics is astounding. The level of pure hate and vitriol is astounding.

And for anyone who cares, here's the WSJ/NBC poll showing how actual American's feel about the cuts in the budget:
