That is extremely weak.
If you don't care enough about the topic to actually comment on it, then why even start the thread?

They did not just "magically appear" They were found from broken voting boxes. AND only 450 or so were needed. not all the 7500. That just helps.

So what?

It's not like they were found in an abandon warehouse five weeks after the election day-like in Minn.

Nothing underhanded here, just like the vote in Florida.
When a person that has been involved in as many mistakes, and criminal investigations, as the one in the article, you know our voting system needs a major overhaul. I see a time when a vote is accompanied by a signature and/or thumb print. And to tell the truth, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Yes, our votes are suppose to be private, but when the system is so corrupted and mismanaged, what else is there to do. Some of these politicians have lackeys in the right places to swing elections in their favor. There should be investigations into each person who is responsible for tabulating or are in anyway connected with counting, reporting votes. If they have worked with or for either party, they do not belong in that position.

Republicans are not ashamed to cheat and lie their guts out

I would NEVER advocate my "candidate" cheating, I would walk the line on that

I have enough respect for this country and it's principle

but I guess that's is because I have a solid character

A "discovery" of 7,000 plus votes is what happens in third world nations

Pretty Disgusting

And this is simply disgusting.
Voter fraud is getting harder

The votes found in an abandoned warehouse and felons illegally voting in Minnesota are why Al Franken was elected as senator. But wait, that couldn't possibly happen... because he is a democrat.

This isn't a party line thing. It is politics. No party has clean hands.

My Dear Fellow American,

I will not try to pretend to have all the facts at my fingertips however it is my understanding that the 7500 votes was the necessary amount to stop a recount. Also as far as the votes being found in a ballet box I feel this is incorrect too, the clerk I believe said that they were (the votes) on a computer file and she forgot to hit the download button or something to that effect. I think it should also be noted that she has had problems in the past dealing with the vote talleys. It should be further noted that she had worked for this particular judge. Again I am not going to try to tell you that I have all the facts at my disposal, however I think I am on solid ground with what I've just outlined. I hope I've helped in your understanding of this issue.

Peace and Blessings

This is the second time you've mentioned that Al Franken cheated in the election. Could you please provide links to your proof! As Americans we don't slander people just because we didn't like the outcome of the election. Let's see your proof. Votes being stored in an abandoned warehouse??? Where do you get this stuff?? How does something like that get past the secretary of state. Didn't Al Frankin unseat an incumbant. An upstart has more power to buy an election than an incumbant? I think you have issues that you need to work through. I am not trying to be condensending here. But really, think about what your saying. Please forgive me if I've offended you ,that is not me desire, I just want to know the truth and I hope you do too.Because learning the truth about the issues which affect our democracy is a American obligation. Putting out lies or failing to learn the truth for rank partisan reasons is totally unAmerican. Be an American FIRST AND FOREVER!!!

A bit of misinformation in this thread. What really happened was that almost 15,000 votes from the city of Brookfield, Wisconsin were omitted from the vote count. Brookfield is a republican leaning city.

From the article

"Insisting that “this is not a a case of extra votes or extra ballots being found” but a mistake in not saving totals entered into a spreadsheet, Nickolaus, a Republican, said the canvassing process in the county has been “open” and “transparent” with observers from the Republican and Democratic parties.

Ramona Kitzinger, a Democrat on the canvassing board, said that the panel was confident the vote totals were accurate. “We went over everything and made sure the numbers jibed,” she said."

www.politico.com...

This article concerns the "mysteriously appearing" Al Franken ballots referenced by Pop Rocks.

www.outsidethebeltway.com...

Bottom line: the American people can no longer trust their voting system, period. The cheaters, liars, hacks and bullies on BOTH sides have seen to that. ANYTHING to "win".
Gee, thanks for nuthin.

I suppose you have never BEEN to a third world nation then Saint, we have it DAMN good buddy.
You know what has made the modern third world nations what they are today?

Corporations -

Hell our prosperity can be attributed to the same

HOWEVER

the moderate, cautious approach to commerce has been replaced with ideas I think you know very well...
The battle against governance based upon response to the citizens needs is successfully being replaced by
a system that services the needs of private interests, in short non business owners are successfully being leveraged out of the political process.

Back to the third world corporate factor...

Corporations come in just like Walmart here. They proceed to destroy the local economies by buying into the locales, out capitalizing every aspect of life, by creating a false sense of abundance or scarcity. Ultimately they achieve this by finding pro corporate politicians who will side closely with the concepts of commerce. More recently they are going after critical resources, namely water... The Corporatists form cartels, who in turn by keep choke points and/or wells which create the ultimate weapon for a dependent workforce, which has very little choice when it comes to their local economies. This is a simple FACT, it is nothing but capital leveraging based
upon a formula, this formula is function of expansion in under developed markets.

What is so VERY foolish about the "liberty" rhetoric here is that this third world process is hampered by regulation, namely statutory law and regulatory law.

I would like any TEA PARTY member to tell me how creating a legal-scape of an under developed market
will create more "freedom" in America? You see, the business minded conservatives here in America
are simply attempting to implement the same policies which work wonders for business's in the third world.
I think at the street level, this process is over looked erroneously

And Saint, I only have to read the mound of confabulations here to know who will champion the
win at all cost approach of stealing an election; and it's not me.

If you think your political contemporaries are anti NWO, I think you fail to see how their policies fund the gas, which is corporatist march, which is ultimately financial in nature.

We are talking about this instance

Nickolaus worked for 13 years for a Republican caucus that was controlled by Prosser when he was Assembly speaker in 1995 and 1996. She was given immunity from prosecution in a 2002 criminal investigation into illegal activity by members of the caucus where she worked as a data analyst and computer specialist.

The corruption probe took down five legislative leaders, all of whom reached plea deals. Nickolaus resigned from her state job in 2002 just before launching her county clerk campaign.

Nickolaus also has been criticized by the Waukesha County Board for her handling of past elections and lack of oversight in her operation

Dear friend,
Thank you for those links. I would like to discuss the wisconsin link at another time as I would like to do a little more research on the subject. Let's just discuss the link you sent me about Al Frankin vote being stored in a ware house. According to the article you sent me 37 votes were attributed to combined machine malfunction and human error. The the state's secretary of state felt that 12000 absentee vote were being trown out that shouldn't have been trown out. Appearently they were not fraudulent, or illeagal and so a fifth category was established to determine the validity of the vote. That category stated that as long as the vote wasn't factually flawed then it could be accepted. Now I didn't note in the article weather all 12000 of those absentee votes went to Frankin or not. It's my guess that they didn't all go to Frankin so if I am right then this decision didn't necessarily favor Frankin.Isn't it a necessary component of a free and Democratic society to count all valid votes. That is the very thing that went wrong in Florida. The U.S. Supreme Court decided against the Florida Supreme Court to recount all the votes. The very essence of Democracy requires us to count all the votes and the final arbitor of our Constitution and the basis of our LIBERTY decided in opposition of "STATES RIGHTS" to kill the vote. Here you have a secretary of state upholding the"Principles for WHICH WE STATND" and some people have a problem with that. We are living in a very strange time.
Peace and Blessings

reply to post by DogsDogsDogsAgain I thank you for the links,

I agree with your bottom line,we really can't trust our voting system,it's win at any cost and this thing in WISCONSIN is typical of that mind set.. According to the articles that I have read Prosser was behind by some 1000 votes, the talleys were 740K for Kloppenburg and 739 K for Prosser. In Wisconsin if you win by 5% or less it automatically triggers a state sponcered recount were neither candidate has to p[ony up the funds to cover the expenses. So if Prosser just won by say 40 votes he would risk a recount . So he needed to be in the lead by 7500 votes to stop a state sponcered recount. With this lead Kloppenburg must pay for the recount.

Enter County Clerk Kathy Nicholaus who has a history of doing some very unusual things with election data.
She once took election data collection and storage systems off the county computer network and put them own her stand alone P.C.

According to a county auditor she insist on controling password and moves senitive election files onto her P.C.

Then the irregularities don't stop there. In the township where these mysterious votes came from normal turnout is around 20to 25% and that day it was around 38%. Is this all just coincidence? It's your "Democracy" you be the Judge.. Do we really want this sort of thing going on in the name of either party? I personally think this Nicholaus women should go to jail for this. If this was the first time for her maybe not jail but she has a history of this sort of thing. How do these people who are so un=Democratic get to work in the very "HEART of our Democratic process. No American should turn a Blind Eye to this even if it does favor your side of this issue. LIBERTY is defined as the "POWER OF CHOICE" .Our liberty is our vote. Don't let anyone steal your vote. All Wisconsinites should be in the streets demanding a total and thorough investigation. It is your "LIBERTY that is being stoling.
Peace and Blessings
Richc
