Professional Computer Help For Free!

Hello Tygart and everybody,
up to now I have been using eset smart security as my antivirus software,
and because it is expiring in a few days I am thinking of using the free version of
anti malwarebytes which was proposed by a friend.
Does anybody know anything about anti malwarebytes?
Is it a light program, is it good or better than what I have now.
Whatever info I can get would be good.
Thanks to everybody in advance for any help.

I have a laptop I can't use because I forgot the admin password. How do I get back into it?

What operating system does it have, what brand laptop?

#1 boot into safe mode (press F8 before windows starts),

#2 log onto the account named "administaor" NOT your normal account

#3 go into control panal and remove password from user account settings.

I cant remember how many times iv forgot my password and had to do this. that or reinstall windows but i dont think anyone wants that joy.
