I don't like that website, I can't find a price, looks like one of those network marketing "Get Rich Form Your Computer" sites. Looks fishy to me!!

Other members should chime in soon.

I have another question.

Is it normal that whatever I do on my computer, the CPU never goes over 25%?

Good morning Tygart.
Im running windows 7.
For example, whenever I startup a program, or even transfer files either to or from some memory stick or to or from an external hard disk drive it wont go higher than 25%.
The only time it goes to 99-100% is when I startup my computer and until it loads windows.
Right now its running between 0.1-22%.

I mean what is your processor? Dual core, quad core, How fast?? I sure that is normal.

I bet you can play some pretty nice games on that.

Medion looks to be a Germany-based company which markets rebranded netbooks and laptops from Taiwanese companies.

MSI Wind sold as Medion Akoya

Actually its a little old.
It is a dual core at 1.6ghz and as a machine its quite heavy duty. It also has small ram, 1.5gigs
It dosent give up when I have it under pressure...(at least not yet)
The truth is that I have run a few games and programs that require a minimum of about twice the amount of power and ram, and they work almost normally.
I still think that the cpu could be faster when for example I transfer files from one source to another.
One more thing, when I transfer I usually dont have anything else running.
Thanks for your reply Tygart!

Which model are you thinking about buying? I might be able to look up an MSI equivalent and give you the specifications for that one.

Not sure about getting files to transfer faster, if your talking about camera cards and such, the reader has a lot to do with transfer speed.

I know about that.

Yes.

but it's your money, and you really should pick and choose which machine suits you best. at the end of the day, it's not really about which computer you buy. it'll be about what you use that computer for and how having that piece of equipment made you better and more fulfilled about what you're doing. good luck.

Hi toreishi,
Yes I did sound naive, and no I do not want to spend money just for the heck of it.
I am looking for a quite powerful one at a good price, because I also need it for editing.
Editing needs a powerful cpu and plenty of ram so as to get the job done more eficiently.

Greetings oconnection

Thank you for offering this service. I am having a problem with text. Certain individual text has a red ghost (as I call it) beside the original black text. For example the lower case letter ( l ) would have a red lower case ( l ) very close to and on the left side of the original black ( l ). It seems exclusive to ( i and l ). I cannot show you an exact copy of the problem because it will not transfer to any other medium. My OS is Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium service pack ( 1 ). My PC is a P6720f. I have added a NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 Video Adapter and I have ( 2 ) monitors connected. This issue happens on both Monitors. I have removed the video card and used the integrated card that came with the computer and still have the issue. I have also updated all the video drivers. I tried using Aero themes and that did help somewhat but did not resolve the issue. I then tried adjusting the Clear Type text and was able to get the ghosting down to a minium but it is still there. If I disable Clear Text the problem disappears but the text is very hard to read. With the Clear Type disabled I went to Window 7 Basic and changed the text settings and the text still looked terrible. I have researched this issue extensively and have not been able to resolve it. In itself the problem could be acceptable but I have very bad eyesight and when I enlarge the text the issue becomes extremely more evident.

Thank you for your time.
D
