Sounds like a prank..

The IRA terrorised mainland UK by using constant bomb threats. Some of which were real, some of which weren't.

This was long before 9/11. English people have put up with terror threats much longer than Americans (yes some Americans think terrorism was born on 9/11 , which is an insult to all those who have died long before that time).

Not all terrorists are suicide bombers.

What better way to bring a city to a standstill by 'claiming' to have a bomb? Much cheaper and effective than actually building a bomb and finding some idiot to carry it.

Just my thoughts.

Isn't the whole point of being a terrorist to instill fear? Either way, the person who called in the threat has done his job well, even it affects 5 people.

The Brooklyn Bridge is not located in the confines of the 7th Precinct... Must be two different incidents.
