The AP reports:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A rocket carrying an Earth-observation satellite plummeted into the Pacific Ocean after a failed launch attempt Friday, the second-straight blow to NASA's weakened environmental monitoring program.

The Taurus XL rocket carrying NASA's Glory satellite lifted off early Friday morning from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, but fell to the sea several minutes later. The same thing happened to another climate-monitoring satellite two years ago with the same type of rocket.

This is the second such satellite to undergo a catastrophic failure at launch.

MSNBC 2/24/2009 reports:

NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory, a new satellite dedicated to mapping Earth's carbon dioxide levels, crashed into the ocean near Antarctica just after launch Tuesday when a shroud designed to protect the spacecraft accidentally doomed its mission.

The glitch occurred just minutes after the $280 million spacecraft blasted off at 4:55 a.m. ET atop a Taurus XL rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Any time a satellite is produced that could finally end the BS being spewed by the fraudulent criminals you call climate scientists, it blows up on the launch pad.

The whole thing is a scam.

most of the discussion seems to be in the second thread because it has a sensationalist title.

yay 4 threads for the same thing!
and yet the admin came down with the hammer about a single russian rocket thread on this board being the same as the russian wormhole thread in the conspiracy board.

No more of a scam than you using the term sabotage.. Care to back that up with a little thing we call evidence, or did you get this information beamed into your brain?

The second stage failed to ignite, which happens.

Using your logic, when europeans were sending colonists to the New World, there would be a massive conspiracy of sabotage against all vessels that did not make it to land.

1. Government sprays us with chemtrails.
2. Government launches a mission that could disprove chemtrails.
3. Government realises how silly that would be, and sabbotages their own mission.

All the while the "government" is being run by a "shadow government" which in turn is run by a cabal of industrialist, who answer to the masons, who get their guidance from the NWO, whose actions are dictated by the reptilian species living on Sirius in the Pleades, who answer to the Supreme Overlord, Oprah.
