Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Jews and Zionists are "trying to push the US into war" and are a cover for Satan, at the group's annual meeting near Chicago on Tuesday.

“President Obama," Farrakhan said, "if you allow the Zionists to push you, to mount a military offensive against Gaddafi and you go in and kill him and his sons as you did with Saddam Hussein and his sons, I’m warning you this is a Libyan problem, let the Libyans solve their problem among themselves.” Farrakhan called Muammar Gaddafi "my brother" and "my friend."

Farraklan and his ilk are a sad thing today, especially while he is very popular, he has a million man march, and the white kkk is lucky to get 30 people. But while I think Farraklan's racism is bad, and it's sad our media and politicians pander to him, they don't to the white kkk, which shows the bias against honkey in the US, but of course sometimes everyone says something that is right, and I think he is probably more right than not on this issue.

Farrakhan is right about one thing , this is a Libyan problem let the Libyans take care of it,.

He shouldn't have said "Jews," just Zionist-led Israel. You can't group all Jews together as bad, just like we shouldn't group all Muslims as Terrorist Extremists because both Zionist Jews and Muslim Extremists are the minority in the religion.

And they aren't the only ones who want war either. Our oil corporations, defense contractors, and militaries want war just as bad.

Actually you can't.

Hezbollah, Al Qaida, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc. are all very different in philosophy, methods, and levels of extremism.

For instance the Muslim Brotherhood is actually against violent revolution and terror, but follows some strict views on Sharia.

Some Muslim extremists are like cults and others are not.

You see the same thing among Christian extremists. Some are hardcore white supremacists that want genocide. Others just want gays to not be able to marry and adopt kids.

So again we can't lump and label groups in such a manner and be objective about it.

Well yeah, but the point was that you can't say "Jews are pushing the U.S. into war." It's just viewed as super politically incorrect in this country. I was saying he could have said "Zionists in Israel" or even "dual American-Israeli-Zionist citizens in the U.S. gov. are pusing the U.S. into war." If he said it correctly then it wouldn't be make the news because AIPAC is pushing the U.S. to war. They'd rather hide it than publish it and make a big deal about it because it could wake people up

There are hawks in the US and don't ever be fooled into thinking we don't have hawks in our military or the government. We have been launching wars long before Israel existed and before AIPAC was ever thought of.

AIPAC has an agenda. The military industrial complex has an agenda. The elite patricians have agendas. You will find hawks and doves among all three.

People need to be looking at individuals for agendas and not judging entire groups of people.

What a bunch of malarky! The Muslim Brotherhood has a long history of violence. They launched Al Quadea and Hamas, just to name two violent groups. Don't deceive yourself or try to decieve others.

Al Qaeda was not born from or out of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ayman al-Zawahiri was a member of the Brotherhood who came to lead Islamic Jihad, a group that does not share the same philosophy as the Brotherhood.

Al Qaeda was formed in Pakistan. Bin Laden was never a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Al Qaeda is enemies with the Muslim Brotherhood. If you visit the MB website, there are articles covering the back and forth denouncements from each group. Zawahiri and Bin Laden both have denounced the MB as failing Islam.

Hamas was created by members of the Brotherhood, but its creation was also spurred by Israel as it supported the Islamists to undermine the PLO. Sheihk Yassin was even treated in Israeli hospitals and had regular contact with Israeli generals prior to the birth of Hamas.

Its not near as simple as people would like to believe.
