Typically the "proof" offered isn't really proof at all, the insults are unfortunate but some people ( possibly even myself ) can come accross as rude when that isn't the intent..

I disagree, I call it being responsible and taking a scientific approach.. I would love for some of the claims I read on this site to be true but it really is the case that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.. sadly we almost always get the extraordinary claims without the extraordinary evidence .. The tendancy with many here is to jump immediately to the most extraordinary assumptions without any real evidence whatsoever and when you try to offer a plausible, though more mundane explanation you risk being called a misinformation agent for trying to keep your conclusions logical and within the realm of known phenomena .. that's rather stupid if you ask me.

I encourage people to keep bringing these cases to the ATS community but I discourage automatic assumptions that it is something otherworldly without taking a good solid look at it and ruling out potentially mundane, but rather reasonable explanations first.

You should stop whining. Toughen up and focus on the posts rather then the members. Dont let others slow you down or else you wont go too far in life and succeed. Sure there are all kinds of people on ATS and outside of ATS. That is what makes us unique and individual(s). The more we interract and disagree, the more we learn about ourselves and others. Eventually we will agree down the road at a mature level when we have attained a state of self realization, enlightenment and understanding of LIFE and its purpose. Wish life was simple but it is not. We cannot be too lazy to stop discussing how we feel about a particular subject or topic. What makes it more interesting is the opinions and view points. To be honest your viewpoints made me laugh a lot which is just as important as it is healthy to laugh instead of typing away. Focus Focus Focus on the subject and put away your differences with other ATS members.

Well think about it this way that its another form or method to obtain more information when a person is unable to convey their thoughts effectively even when they have all the freedom to type. ATS does not claim that you will not be challenged or questioned by others when you post or respond to a post. Grow up will you please ?

How to know who is a wacko on ATS:

They accuse anyone who doesn't agree with them of being a government agent or employee. They also often fail to recognize the difference between debunking and skepticism.

Newsflash for those types: nothing you're saying is important enough for the government to step in and debate you. You should be ashamed of your level of narcissism.
