i read the whole thread now and just signed in to be able to share my experiance about the bucegi mountains area because have recently been there (march and april 2013) as a worldtraveller

because i read the whole thread i first want to thank lisa for opening and updating the thread. i highly appricate the effort you put in this. please ignore those who want you to prove anything or attac you personaly. i think like me the most readers understand that you just want to bring up the topic and see what others can contribute to finding out whats going on in these mountains

i have to say i dont believe in most of the lets say theories about the mountains but that doesent mean i would deny them. it could be but i dont believe it. but i do know that something is goiing on there and there is less interesset that it is made public.

ok know to my storry i have to dissapoint all those who think something special happend to me. it didnt. but because i have recently been there some might know what i experianced there. i am worldtraveller and came along the area. i stayed in predeal wich is something lke 10km away from the mountains but you can see them. i stayed with a local mountainguy because i am couchsurfing. he went many times hiking there and also stayed often some days with the tent. he knows many many interessting mountain related locals. we did a lot of activities there such as snowboarding hiking and climbin and oneday we also went to sphinx and babele. i can tell you it is a beautifuland very energetic special place and therfore also very touristic and visited by many many tourists in summer. so it is not that remote as some might think. but because i was there with no tourists at all it was interessting that some sientists from bucurest where there.my host told me that these scientist are not here for the weather but to meassure the unexplainable high level of energy and radioactivity (not sure if radioactivity is wat he ment because his english was not so perfect) my host then start to tell me about the theories that exist about that area and about department zero the giants and ceausescu and joint military operations with the us and special forces from e us who come here after the created so called revolution so on. i was amused and surpriesed that i never heared about this area before because i would say 90% of al these therioes i have ad least heard of because ofthe internet. anyway the fact is that i never heard about this bevore and my host told my more or less the same what was written in this thread. but he did not read that book he only speaked a lot to many many people arround and by his own expériance know that if you go to close to the area with the radiostation you will be kicked out by armed military. so the radiotower is sure much more interessting point then the nature formed spinx. another interessting thing was that i meat one of his friends who used to work for the military intellicence (not goverment intellicence or securitate) of course he is not allowed to speak about anything and al my carefull questions leading to that topic (of course i asked not directly) he switched with a lot of humor and it was in the end obvious that he know much bout that topic but did not want to talk to me. understandable because we meet only one night.

so what i want to share can be summaried as follows
the area is touristic and well vistied
the area has a special energy you feel when you are there
there are scientiest who meassure stuff there
if you go to close to radiostation armed man tell you not to get close
millitary action with US take place in that area
locals know about the special place and theories and there are many witness of special phenomenons in the area


ok so far nothin new more or less just a cofirmation from a local point of view.

know something that was not put in context yet. there has been. secret cia prisons in romania and there are some agreements with the us that they can do on romanian soil wathever they want . this contracts are the reason why the us helped romaina to join the nato.. i will post more on that tomorrow because i dont ave tme.
but i think there is a link ith these contracts and areas like busteni

Thanks for your input. If there is anything to these stories your eyewittness reports seem to prove out something is happening there regardless of what you want to call it. With the information provided by Lise and others it seems there maybe something there that the authorities don't want people to find. I hope this thread stays alive because this is one of the more interesting series of events that has been discussed here.

Thank You Marco, your input is much appreciated I wish people will write about their experience there. It is true CIA's bases are in Romania for a long time. right after the revolution. Even from before in a form or another. There has been times when foreign military was spotted in Romanian mountain. Most of their bases are at the Black Sea but they are present in the mountain region.

Poiana Ciresului and its discoveries obtained and published over time is the most important settlement in this part of Europe for the Gravettian culture.

A Number of art objects discovered in this site is greater than all other works of art found in paleolithic settlements in Romania.
They are currently part of world heritage. Also stratigraphic situation at "Poaian Ciresului" is an exception for Paleolithic discoveries of Romania, cultural levels being sealed in sterile layers thick, making art pieces distribution per level to be in impeccable state. Archaeological material represented by lithic pieces and fauna is extremely rich archaeological on each level. All this, coupled with the existence of several types of dating (C-14, DSB paleomag-netism), make this resort one of the reference Gravettian sites the oldest in Romania and one of the oldest in Europe.

"The research, under the scientific coordination of prof. Dr. Marin Cârciumaru is composed of members of the National Museum Complex "Royal Court" of Targoviste, represented by researcher Dr. Elena-Cristina Nitu II - Head site, Dr. Ovidiu Cîrstina - museum director and Dr. Daniela Iamandi - Conservation Unit Head -Restore, and the Ph.D. (Drd. Octavian Rogozea and PhD. Andrei Stavila) and students (flowers Marius, Căpăţână Alina Mirica Alexander, riveting Alberto Florin Lupu, Şerbănescu Sebastian) of the University of Targoviste Wallachia.

The discovery consists of a beautiful stone pendant, beautiful and complex geometric patterns etched recovered from a layer belonging to the Gravettian culture, dated to 20,000 years (radiometric dating method C-14). First of all i did not steal anything from anyone. The whole thread is a combination of info and I wish people will stop saying "not a big fan of David Icke"..READ THE WHOLE THREAD and then make a comment like that.

I have discussed books, archeological studies, discoveries, strange happenings within my country. I wish people will not make comments like yours without going to read each post in the thread.

This is one of the largest gold mining projects in the world with more risks than any other. The Diary of Admiral Byrd is very interesting to me. I have seen and heard of this before, and his map is quite interesting. Especially with regard to the OP and the beings said to inhabit the insides of mountains. Did Byrd have an Alien encounter? a Psychotic Break? A hallucination?

I agree with you. I think one of the main problems is we have been conditioned to accept anything out of the ordinary as fantasy, or myths. Since no one on earth was around back then who are we to decide what happened or didn't happen. Even when artitacts are recovered sometimes we hear little or nothing about it in the news.

I go there every year especially on the Bucegi plateau where the Sphinx is.
I am from Romania and i've heard about the giants in the Bucegi mountains and the network of tunnels that are there (the history books tell about the tunnel networks being used to hide treasures and also as a hiding place in times of war).There are also new caves and tunnel networks being discovered even now and i believe many more will be found, but of course the public won't have access as it is "normal" for the government to restrict visiting to many of them, usually saying that you can damage the fragile ecosystem inside.To some you can ask for permission to go inside and if they let you you will be accompanied by a "guide" or more that will not let you go in certain areas.
I can definitely tell you that there is government activity in the mountains right now but what is strange is that they aren't building anything there..it's more like they are searching for something and you will find that more and more places are being restricted.There has been american and israeli presence there too, supposedly to train (lol)..of all the places in the world you go in some romanian mountains to train.Even the communists took great interest in these mountains when they were in power and from what i've heard they were helped by the chinese.The thing that everybody here agrees on is that some sort of energy was detected inside the mountains and personally i believe it too.What most of the people speculate is that there are some force fields protecting the tunnel networks and chambers inside. (I won't drift from the subject but i believe we are not the first race of "humans" to walk this earth and i think another "advanced" race of beings left some traces of their existance).
Another interesting thing found here is a water source that has been studied and found that it is the cleanest water ever tested that has been mentioned in ancient writings too, used by the ancient priests for healing.
