Welcome to ATS.

We've all been through it and to be honest after well over 3 years membership I would prefer it to be about 100 posts, but they are the T&C by which we ALL must obey.....and though the T&C may at times seem strange and unnecessary they are part of what makes ATS by far the best site of it's type, bar none.

I feel your pain, i too am in the process of getting through 20 posts, I am by nature a quiet person and only normally speak out when I have something to say worthwhile, this seems a lot to me too but other members say it's not enough and I guess being new to the actual posting on the forums I'm not qualified to argue.

I'm a new member myself, and I don't think the 20 post requirement is too high at all. I actually think it's a good thing, and really wouldn't mind if it was even higher. Seems to me it's a good way to weed out anybody who registers with the intention of coming in and spamming the forums with porn, male enhancement ads, get rich quick scams, or whatever else the spammers are tossing around nowadays. Things like that happen on even the smallest forums out there, I can only imagine how many spammers try to sign up and flood a site this large every day.

I've been registered for less than 24 hours now, and I think this is my 14th or 15th post already, so reaching 20 really isn't too difficult. So from one new ATSer to another, welcome!

flagging is neeither good or bad. it might be gay, in the happy sense, but seriously, dont worry about that arcane stuff. you'll end up an ats weirdo. just post yr thoughts and be happy man.

Welcome to ATS, you could knock 20 posts out in half an hour if you wanted too! I think it should be a hundred posts to give people time to learn ATS ways...

Is it really so bad?
I feel like I could post forever in other people's threads and be perfectly happy.

20 Posts can see high but im sure it has its reasons ;O Besides its a respected forums and im sure they don't want it immediately cluttered with peoples nonsense that holds no merritt.
