I Keep Getting Logged Out

I sign in click on a thread and am logged out.

Can anyone suggest some causes for this kind of action?

It just started today.

Have you started deleting your history or running any kind of cleaning software?

That sometimes does it.

Yes! It started yesterday. I'm reading, then suddenly, all the avatars are gone and there are tons of ads.
At first I thought I was somehow hitting log out by mistake.

Last night I thought. Well. I'm being bumped off. Hmpt.

So, it's not just you. So far, it hasn't happened this morning, but I haven't been on much.

Dunno.

What browser are you using?
You may have to disable any third party extensions/applications.


ETA: Could be some random background app running on your OS as well.

I can barely stay logged in to reply.

I am using internet explorer.

Maybe the fates are telling me to log out and go do something today. Guess I can try that.

Huh, it has not logged me out for a while now. Ugh!

This has happened to me a time or two - I usually log off and come back and all is well.
