Postings of a Troubled Mind

online.wsj.com

Last May 9, at two in the morning, Jared Lee Loughner typed a question to a group of about 50 online gamers located around the world: "Does anyone have aggression 24/7?"

He was back at his keyboard the following night. "If you went to prison right now...What would you be thinking?" he asked.

If there was any question about whether Laughner was actually Erad3 ... Check this out!

The game includes social networks built around the clan alliances—private online forums in which players conversed. In those forums at that time, Mr. Loughner often spouted conspiracy theories and got into heated debates with others, according to a forum participant who has been reading Mr. Loughner's posts for years. Mr. Loughner originally played under the pseudonyms Cries and Cry. At various times he also used the aliases Heroin, XTC and Erad, according to two people familiar with the matter, and played for various clans.

Any idea what gamer forum they're discussing?
Would love to dive through more Jared excretions.

EDIT: Got it, further down the article:

Mr. Loughner posted the messages in a private forum associated with the online game Earth Empires.

On March 21, 2005, Weise killed a total of nine people. He first killed his grandfather, 58-year-old Daryl Allen Lussier, Sr., and Lussier's girlfriend, 31-year-old Michelle Leigh Sigana. Later he shot and killed seven people at Red Lake Senior High School, including one teacher and a security guard. Five other students were injured in the shooting. After briefly exchanging fire with police officers following the murders, Weise committed suicide via shotgun.

Daaayyymn... 58 yo Grandpa rockin a little 31 yo to sleep..
Wouldn't call it a "pattern" but given the breadth of topics on ATS there's bound to be a few bad apples.

Ok, perhaps my use of the word "pattern" was a bit glib.
Then again, you offered him up, could be argued I was lead to that conclusion
(sarcasm in case that doesn't translate well..)
