This video was made as a joke, I did videos like that were you just over act sh!t up for the hell of it... I play a lot of FPS and I have no urges to go kill someone just because I play a game where you shoot people in the game... Just because you drive a car everyday do you feel like racing everyone when you go do your grocery???

Ridiculous....

Some partisans can't even let the body get cold before making a political statement on her death.

It's sad and SICK.

David Fitzsimmons just reported on CNN that AZ is a gun happy state. The rhetoric has begun. This may not be the appropriate time to bring this up, but guns and border control will be next on the political agenda. Restrictions will be implemented at a very fast pace I'm afraid.

No doubt the anti-gunners will ratchet up their rhetoric, and the pro-gunners will respond. It still comes down to one nutjob, or one conspirator who did this terrible thing, not the law abiding citizens that the second amendment exists to protect.

There have been plenty of politicians I hated, but shooting one is simply crossing the line from being part of a civilized society into barbarianism. Truly a sad day for this country.

How does one not know if they are dead or alive?

It can not take to much brain work to check the pulse.

Something is being covered up.

There are conflicting reports. Apparently a hospital spokesperson says she is in surgery and in critical condition presently. The news sources are definitely torn between the two stories. NRP has changed their headline from "killed" to "shot"

No cover up.

You've heard of the "Fog of war"? Well this is the equivalent when it comes to disasters and emergent events. Different people hearing / witnessing different things at different times and reporting it to the press at different times.

Confusion is a normal human staple in the best of times, and doubly so during events like this.

Well there are supposedly other people killed reporting up to 6 others killed...

Why are these other dead people not being talked about...

Shot in the head, if she is not dead she will be soon.. Most likely atleast.

I would like to quote a lil history for our
younger members who may not have been alive
back in the day.

In 1981, President Reagan was shot and Tom Brady
took a 22 bullet in the head in that same incident.
What followed that event was the largest sweeping
overhaul of gun control in the history of the US.
It was called the Brady Bill.

Remarkable, how these 2 incidents intersect.
get your pen and paper handy, history is getting
ready to change again.

Wow, bloke on CNN commenting on Arozona's "right" politics and the "gun happy" culture, I think it's irresponsible journalism to allow comments like that before they know the truth.

It could have been any one, with any motive. Maybe he wanted to be famous, have a wikipedia page dedicated to him.

Maybe he was having a psychotic episode.

Anything.

The whole situation blows.

Yeah -- I doubt it had anything to do with Arizona's mostly "right-leaning" (i.e., conservative) citizens. Sure -- it may be true that the congresswoman was a Democrat (a liberal-leaning political party), but she was very conservative by Democrat standards -- she was a "Blue-Dog" conservative Democrat who often spoke out against President Obama's ideology. On the broad political spectrum, she was a moderate.

It certainly is irresponsible for that CNN guy to try to imply this was a "conservative shooting a liberal", seeing that the congresswoman was not even a liberal.

Or it could be a small act of a revolution that desperately needs to happen.

You never know.
