Do they engage in homosexual acts and worship the devil?

The major things that I hear about "secret societies" are things like devil worshiping and homosexual acts being done in their meeting place. Is this really going on or is this just an nonfactual stereotype? Why is it always the devil and never the antagonist of another religion? These are just some basic questions I have. Thanks.

How secret can a society be if they are so often discussed openly
Are there clubs that engage in devil worship and homosexual acts? Probably.
Are there organizations that seek enlightenment, value a belief structure, honor their ancestors, seek a future for their prosperity? One only need ask one to be one.

If you are looking for video evidence for this kind of stuff, or data that would withstand a cross examination in a court of law, you will never get it.

The best you are gonna get is anecdotal reports and some pretty good testimony from people who purport, with a great deal of credibility, what they observed and were subjected to as ritual abuse victims. I am thinking of mainly Cathy Obrien, who publised Tranceformation of America.

If even a fraction of what she claims is true (and I tend to believe much of what she says), then the people who have been in charge of this country and leaders of their community are some of the most sadistic, depraved and horrible creatures to have ever walked the earth.

I want you to think for a moment about the average guy. Think of him joining up with the local order of the XYZ society. Now picture his face when they tell him to grease up for the ball on the hill.

don't you think he would run screaming out of the lodge and tell everyone he knows about it? Why he may even start a site called freemasonrywatch.org or something.

Seriously, no devil worship, no satanic sacrifices, and no orgies. I know that sounds boring, but it's just how it is.

No, I don't think so. These sorts of rumors often surround secret societies and generally any organization which does not abide by the popular religious conventions of the day. For instance atheists used to be accused of Satanism, killing infants, etc. All sorts of Dark Age style rumors based on ignorance and designed to spread fear of any viewpoint outside the "norm". In fact similar rumors were spread about Christianity before it caught on, back when it was considered a cult.

The whole secret society devil worship thing is just silly but part of it stems from the fact that these organizations aren't open to everyone, they're, well, secret, so there's a sort of "Who knows what they might be doing in there" attitude.

Edit to Add: As for homosexual acts WHO CARES? I mean as long as the members involved are consenting I could really care less if they want to engage is any sexual acts.

I disagree.

My belief is that the "really weird stuff" that the OP is referring to occurs only at the highest levels, and among members who have been indoctrinated into the practices at a very young age by older family members across multiple generations. These people are "legacy members" who go to their graves without disclosing the stuff they do.

To use your analogy, if I am a high ranking member of a club that participates in extremely sick practices as a matter of course that might land me in jail, I'm not gonna take any tom, dick or harry as a member and immediately show him all of the weird stuff I do. It's gonna be shared and practiced only by die-hard, long-term members who are "true believers", not the lowest ranking dues payer that has been a member for a short period of time.

Dovetailing into this idea is the notion that MOST members do not get into the really sick stuff. I know personally of guys who have been in these kinds of clubs and organizations who would run screaming if you wanted them to do anything but pay their dues, have the occasional party, drink beer and do the obligatory charity fund-raiser every year.

Take note of the ages involved. Note the kind of vehicles driven. Remember, that the "Higher Up's" would be the rich guys.
