There appears to be two of them at some point, and due to the constant zooming, the direction of the second couldn't be compared to the original UFO. my guess is satellites
It's probably not anything that is significant.

That's the moon in shot right? A satellite in the same part of the sky would not be visible with the glare of the moon cos they're pretty faint. Unless it was the SS??
Also it looks like the object flits about randomly in the second half of the vid, but that could be down to you NOT HOLDING THE DAMNED CAMERA STEADY! Is that a pre-requisite for UFO vids now or what? Give us some more info.

It was about twice as large as the birghtest star, it was so big and bright that I thought the North star was a second smaller one!

That is the International Space Station.
Looking at Spaceweather.com, inputting Redding, CA, you will see that the ISS listed as follows:


ISS (rise time)06:47:58 pm WNW (transit time)06:50:22 63° (magnitude)-3.7 (very bright)

The object appears to move, however that is due to the movement of the camera. You can cleary see the moon in the shot, and then a few seconds later you get to see Jupiter. Someone above posted that there are two lights, the second would be Jupiter.

That's what I thought at first also, except for the back-up motion (unless the tape was backed up) But last night when the ISS made that pass, it lost all reflected light as it neared the moon and you couldn't see it...

Can you describe it in any sort of detail?
For me, it is way to hard to tell but It's like everyone is freaking out like it was a mother ship the size of a building which to me becomes annoying.
Maybe there is someone else in your area who got another angle
