munich ufo/spiral? 10/20/2010

so what is it? cgi? sundog? weather anomalie? swamp gas? chinese lantern? balloons with leds?

i am starting this thread only because i want to discuss the unkown anomalie in these 5 photos, what is it?

i am thinkin it couldnt be any of the other explanations i listed which already came to mind.

A reflection in the window. That´s not a spiral, that are circles.
Like from a static lamp.

Easy.
Its the reflection of the camera on the inside of the out cover.

Debunked.

the center point of the anomalie does not stay in the same spot throughout the images, it moves slightly, if it were reflection this would mean the item or the reflector moved, which is unusual for the hotel webcam, you can view it at the link and see that it doesnt move. plus even now in the dark there is no light showing on the hypothetical reflector

Yes there is. The sun is shining right at the domed camera.
The light hits the camera and reflects on the inside of the dome.
The "anomaly" moves because the light shifts (clouds) and the sun moves, as does the camera.

Show a video of this at night (no light to reflect), then the debate could continue.

Just watched it again. Clearly the cameras own reflection.

i wish someone could get a photo of the cam itself to see if it actualy is using a dome,

so then given similar conditions it should occur again tomorrow at the same time,



i still dont quite think it is a reflection because of the coloring to it, pink and blue doesnt seem like a typical camera lens

Also, I know the agency is a big joke around here, but they DID say that they would be "passing though" munich on the 20th and to look out for them. Just sayin'.

Exactly....what is the black dot on the right side of the screen that appears at the same time as the blue circles?

The circles are a reflection, as said.
The black dot is the sun. It's an overexposure thing, don't ask me about the details.

I think it's safe to say this one is debunked.

Whether it gives it away or not also, when the 'spiral' is in the path of a the dark cloud the 'spiral' appears to be under the cloud line

So much for talking about this Munich phenomena that was predicted by the agency..

ive been watching that same camera now at sunset, and it hasnt returned.

so does this mean it was a rare fluke that happend once?

im sure if it was only a reflection of the camera lens we woulda seen it again.
