Enormous Ring is Developing on the Sun!

I really really wouldn't worry about 'unusual' formations in filament lines - we have no idea if they're actually unusual as we've only been observing the Sun for about 0.000000096% of it's lifetime.

The reply from Phage made me smile - we have no idea if filament lines don't join up - we might well be witnessing exactly that. It's best not to talk in absolutes when it comes to interpreting scientific data - as Feynman loved to say...

I have approximate answers and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything, and of many things I don't know anything about. But, I don't have to have an answer, I don't feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in the mysterious universe without having any purpose... which is the way it really is... as far as I can tell... possibly. It doesn't frighten me.

Those of you that said you were scared should really relax - why worry about something you can't control? The sun does what it does, and has done for at least 4.5 billion years (as far as we can figure out).

I'd suggest you relax and enjoy the sheer immensity of what's going on - it's something to be in awe of, not afraid of. We're the first generation of humans to be able to observe the Sun in this kind of detail, and that's something really very special. The 'sun-fear' often found in ATS threads is a terrible shame.

Personally, I think whatever's going on is amazing.

A Star that no one really knows anything about....Wanna know why...Because we have never set foot on the surface..so we have no idea what our star is doing...And as long as it is doing it's job..i.e. heating the surface of our planet...I don't care what it does to be honest...

Im not sure exactly what is happening but apparently the sun can affect our DNA in some way and cause a leap in consciousness. The Mayan prophecies are not all doom and gloom, i think it is some sort of transition for mankind, the doom and gloom comes mainly from the film 2012.

It will open up and release a swarm of billions of parasitic aliens and then when the earth is killed off it will swallow us whole then close up again.

Or it's a wormhole opening up for transport?

Or it's a CME?

Or it's something that we shouldn't worry about and focus more on Earth

Last time I checked, solar flares don't come out of rings...we are just seeing the figures in the clouds right now.

I am by no means a doomsday prophet, or a psychic sensitive, or whatever you may wanna call it, but I am above all, a very observant human being. And it doesn't take a NASA scientist, genius, or skeptic to notice, the dramatic increase in solar activity, UFO sightings, or just general "strange "behavior of the Earth lately. Not to add fuel to the 2012 fire, because we all know, it will either happen or it won't..that's a 50/50, better odds than you would get in any Vegas casino. But I beg to ask the question, "Are all of these anomalies affecting us, at this significant point in time, so close to 2012, just a coincidence or something that has been going on all along, but we didn't have the technology to take notice, or is it something much more intimate and significant to us as a race, a realization of a "fore-telling" that we just didn't want to accept because of it's "fantastical and unreal nature"? Just because you have issues wrapping your head around an event that is beyond your realm of understanding, doesn't make it any less real and significant. I suppose that I just feel like, our fore-fathers were much more in tune to the elements, that they made it a part of their lives, more than present day men do. We rely more on technology now than our own intuitive selves, and to a point, that is a good thing, because we can see the scientific realization of what we feel and we can base our opinions and data accordingly. But, as I said, this technology is allowing us to "see" the reality of the "camp-fire tales of old". I don't believe that all of these events are separated, I do believe that they are interconnected in a way that many of us may not be willing to accept in our own psyches, but have no choice, but to deal with in a very real way, for no matter how " insane" or "unbelievable" they may appear..they are happening. And all that is left is for you to ask yourself, " Am I ready?"

What U.F.O. sighting do you speak of.... You mean ballons and sky divers..? If that the case yea all those ballons and sky divers can mean only one thing... ECONOMIC RECOVERY..yep the economic indicators are indicating....and the sun is tell us it's a full recovery...really..Sun..acting strange...since when we know nothing about the sun..

Planet X? Maybe the predictions were right, who says life has to be on planet X, it might just be a hot lump of coal heading toward us!

Good lord this is no different than people seeing skulls, animals and little people in the rocky landscape pictures of Mars or seeing shapes and faces in a cloud for fun.

Anyone ever done the optical illusions where you effectively see a simple shape when in fact there is no actual shape there at all... please people be just a little rational for crying out loud. Sure it looks like a ring, but there is no ring as proven way back on page 1... the human mind is great at filling in the gaps of simple geometry and seeing a pattern where in fact there is none, its not so great in understanding that this can be a problem for itself however.

Fact be known, there's some major arcing of electricity stretching across the Sun. I subscribe to parts of Electric Sun and Universe theories, mainly because of the importance of embracing conflicting ideas for sorting out conjecture from truth. I don't know what truth is, only what seems to be true in the moment.

The sun as gigantic nuclear furnace sitting isolated in space is flawed to me as an explanation of reality. The sun is like a giant capacitor connected to source fields of energy that are not included in our mainstream models. These models prevent us from thinking of sudden and drastic changes in the sun's intensity and the duration thereof. We are left to fall upon ideas of dramatic spit ups of energy, like spurts of discharge from (some kind of) furnace buried within the sun.

So going along with that idea of an as to yet undeclared source of the sun's energy, if these large structures continue to grow or even just develop and distinguish from the rest of the sun, then i would be led to believe that we are in for something we haven't seen in known recorded history. That being, what i'll be looking for, is an increasing electrical (btw, where-ever it says magnetic, you can replace electric because magnetic fields are produced from moving electric current-- magnetic filaments= electric filaments) charge in the sun due to increasing energy being supplied from its source field. This will next lead to the need for the sun to discharge some of this added energy to the closest charged body, as electricity always takes the easiest path. What will this be? Mars or one of its moons, or venus... will have to wait and see if i'm right, i guess.
